Request her and tell her Giana sent you To the young man whom broke up with Audrey shame on you! She is stunning and kind with a smile to die for !!I can only assume you had moment of misjudgment as Audrey is highly regarded by a beautiful 8 year old who politely suggest you think again
The food is always awesome here! Though, it is not the most authentic, every time I come here the rice is always either not cooked all the way and the rice appears to be crispy that I almost broke a tooth. I am not 100% how the rice is prepared. I know what you are thinking - it is rice. Not much to it and I am no food connoisseur, but if one part of the dish is unpleasant and not enjoyable, it throws off the entire dish. I took my colleagues here after work and we all had a distaste of the rice and picked out the rice like kids who don't like their vegetables. We didnot ask for toasted rice. Though I will come back as usual, the past several years the rice is never done well. Either cook this right or find a different way to cook right. There are other places of mexican food in the area in portsmouth and their rice is always done well - partially dry and fluffy. Not toasted. Until then, my spoiled colleagues and I have committed to opt out of the rice.
I'd like to mention that the staff here are welcoming and their service is very good. The one star is for the rice. The "mexican" rice, regardless if it is with enchiladas or on a fajita combo of some sort, the rice is always crispy, hard and potentially may break a tooth. Tough to eat it and it ruins the dining experience. Not being sarcastic. Everything else taste good EXCEPT the rice. Not sure how they are made or if they prep these in restaurant but Margaritas really need to teach their cooks how to cook mexican rice. It almost taste like the rice is half cooked and it just creates an unpleasant combination of good and bad when the dish itself is suppose to be good. I have been going to Margaritas in Dover and Portsmouth for several years. Time to comment the rice are not cooked right on both locations. Aside from that, still a good place to eat. Just skip the rice.
Food and atmosphere were wonderful as usual. The place was pretty empty which made me feel more comfortable. I was surprised and a little dispointed that none of the staff were wearing masks. Most restaurant servers in Maine wear masks.
After work bar and food if you get there before kitchen closes. Live live actions and some comedy from staff if you get bored. Beautiful people and nice atmosphere.
What a great atmosphere at Portsmouth Margaritas! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We are always greeted as soon as we enter and the team work among the staff is amazing! Waitstaff, Bartenders, Kitchen help, Hosts and managers are always smiling and super friendly! This location is always clean and the new upgrades are awesome!
I went there to celebrate my college graduation. I left with food poisoning that lasted until the early hours of the next morning. After not sleeping for the night, I reached out to the restaurant without a reply. I then emailed corporate without an answer. Very disappointed, and this will be our first and last trip there.
My family and I come here almost every weekend, it’s our comfort restaurant. the food and service is always great, and the waiters are always polite. The Island Jerk Chicken fajitas are my favorite. I highly recommend.
Just about the most mediocre Mexican food in the area. 3 simple beef tacos arrived cold drizzled with pirate sauce from a jar. The chips for the chips and salsa were cold. The Spanish rice was anemic and the refried beans had a look and taste of dried paste
First time here I have heard so many good things the food was good but not great the margaritas are very good the best part was my waitress Sam she was amazing sweet and very kind there didn't seem to be a bus boy or anything like that which is crazy for how busy this place is only down side was seeing my waitress run around crazy while 4 people are standing by the host but must try place ask for Sam she rocks
