we have started frequenting Jitto's, admittedly took a while since we bought a house in Portsmouth in 1996. wow, we didn't know what we were missing. last night I got the steak and cheese calzone to go, while enjoying a drink at the bar. great bat scene, great bar service .. and probably one of the best calzones in the seacoast area ! thanks
Food out here has been some of the best!! I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap.
I loved their pizza but recently changed their recipe and I can not stand it. Everything else is top notch but their pizza...man, it really sucks now
Just let me say I know better when I pick up my order to check it before I leave. The one time I didn’t I got home and some thing was missing. I ordered four things you have one job to do how hard is it for you to get the order complete…
Really good subs. I've had the steak and cheese and Italian and both are outstanding. I always want to try something new but when you find a sub as good as their steak or Italian, theses no reason to switch it up.
This was such a disappointment! I had heard great things about Jittos steak subs, but while they were generous on size, the steak itself had no flavor whatsoever. Sadly, will not return.
Hadn’t been to Jitto’s in years. Forgot their steak subs wasn’t the usual shaved steak but rather small steak tips. It was very good.
Lived in NH my whole life. Some how never went to Jitto's. Definitely a really good steak&chz
First visit even though we live in the area and have driven pat many times. I read good review and stopped by. We ordered a cheese pizza and a calzone. Calzone was fair but pizza was a mess with very sweet sauce. Staff was pleasant but not Covid-maintenance aware. The place had a run down atmosphere and did not feel comfortable. Don't think we'll sop again.
I always enjoy meeting up with the girls at Jitto's for lunch. I get the steak and cheese with mushrooms and pickles... that's my go to sandwich and it's great every time I get it. We can sit and talk easily without being rushed and that's great when catching up with everyone. We try to meet there at least once a month and everyone raves about their lunch.... so it has to be good. They are always crowded and with their expanded bar and seating area, we can always find a seat.
