We enjoyed our ice cream here. Inside seating available. Outside seating around the corner and down the hill. However, no shade for outside seating.

There was nothing special about the ice cream here, but it maybe had something to do with the personality of the associate working there. As my husband said, “she had the personality of a wet mop.” No greeting, no enthusiasm, no smile. You work in a dang ice cream shop! People are here to enjoy life and kick back… smile a little! I had the toffee nut with heath and it tasted like they forgot to add the flavor… I think it was just vanilla ice cream with some heath bar pieces. My husband has the mud pie and it was good, but nothing to write home about.
Passing through Portsmouth coming back from Kittery, I wanted to get in a visit to Izzy’s before Izzy’s ended the season and closed down for the winter. . There was a line at the walk-up – a new set-up under COVID-19. I ordered a one-scoop dish of Death by Chocolate ice cream - one of my favorite flavors. It was pre=priced at $2.90 to nuclide tax. It was delicious – lots of chocolate pieces in the chocolate ice cream. As usual, it was ice-cold, silky-smooth, decadent, and delicious. Izzy’s never disappoints. I rate Izzy's Frozen Yogurt & Ice Cream at 5.0.

The best ice cream...yummy soft frozen yogurt and hard ice cream too. Many, many flavors. Closed in the winter sadly. Our very favorite!
