One of only two tables outside and server walked by us three times with no acknowledgement and then starting smoking outside. We left after 20 minutes with no one serving us. Disappointing experience.

Awesome lobster roll and so fresh. Clam chowder was excellent. We had great waiter, friendly and efficient. We shared blueberry pie and it was outstanding, he even made fresh decaf for me. I’d love to have a pie to take home ?

Good chowder, great lobster roll. Typical New England sea food cafe with exceptional food. Always return.

My wife, mother-in-law and I stopped in for lunch. 2 of us had the lobster roll and the other had egg salad sandwich. The lobster roll had a lot of meat but it was in big chucks. In the picture I had cut it up and cleaned it. I had the mayo and butter on it and it was so good and my wife agreed. She also had the clam chowder and it was different than we had ever had..and it was less than ok. Service we decent. Food wasn't worth $120 for lunch.

What a little gem! After spending a week eating an abundance of seafood, wanted one last bowl of chowder before heading to airport. Huge lumps lobster in the stew, and chowder was packed full of flavor. Blueberry pie with ice cream topped it off. Great find

Visited here twice while we were in area. Outstanding lobster stew!! Delicious lobster rolls too - with choice of butter or mayo on side - not mixed in kitchenWith properly grilled top split bunExcellent service, good safe outdoor dining for Covid

You could tell this is a local favorite, and for good reason. Service is friendly and the food is tasty. After experiencing quite a few chowders and stews on our trip to Maine, I do appreciate when they had a bit more flavor than usual. Not sure what it is, but they are tastier, although still too thin of a broth for my palate. The lobster roll was fresh, of course. And the salad with lobster meat was crisp and also nice and fresh. We had to wait quite awhile for a table, since this is a small place. But it has a good view!

Best and I mean BEST chowder in Portsmouth! It's where the locals go, so you know it's the place to try!! Small but quaint!
