After flying across the country and then driving nearly 2 hours from Logan Airport, this place truly hit the spot. Portsmouth is a very cool city, way cooler than I even imagined it would be. But this place really stood out.The design, the vibe, and most importantly, the food were incredible! So damn good.
This place is A++++. The menu, the service, the establishment, are all top notch. You will not regret stopping to eat here. We absolutely love the local organic ingredients used. The salad and chicken bacon ranch flatbread were incredibly delicious. They had dairy free options for my daughter. The bar had an excellent draft beer selection and the desserts were so good. We will absolutely come eat here again.
Our good fortune that this particular restaurant is open on a Monday evening! Great atmosphere, gluten free menu with awesome tasting items. Definitely on repeat for future visits! Friendly staff and waitress. Kudos for the great recommendations in regards to the meals!
We just visited Portsmouth the end of March. We went here for dinner one night. It was a cold rainy night and when we walked in the hostess could tell I was cold and offered us a seat right in front of the pizza oven. The staff was super friendly and good with recommending items to us. We started with their organic green salad the individual was enough for the two of us to share and it was delicious! Then we ordered one large pie with two different different pizzas we wanted to try so they can do 1/2 & 1/2. We really enjoyed our dinner and the staff (even the guy making the pizza let us take a photo of him) were super friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this place.
Anytime we're visiting Portsmouth we make a point to eat here. The pizza and service is great! Always new and unique choices. Some of the best pizza around!
Had such a wonderful experience at this amazing pizza joint. The service was fast and extremely friendly. The atmosphere was very family friendly and the food was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD. Got the cheese pizza and pear cider and we were in food heaven. This is a def must check out if you have the opportunity!!
Ordered a large Pepperoni & bacon pizza , for the first time. I was asked if I wanted sauce and cheese on that. Which, if you are an American and order a pepperoni and bacon pizza, naturally sauce and mozzarella cheese would come on there.I was excited to try this place as I usually order from another place, however looked at the reviews and they had five stars.Got the flatbread home not 10 minutes after I had placed in order. It was lukewarm water and cold. The Dough was tasteless and very thin & for not very satisfying. The pepperoni and bacon were delicious, according to the hubby. If I recall, they outsource their meats. For a $26 flatbread, I’m not sure that I would return .
Went for a late Sunday dinner with 45 minutes left until the restaurant closed. The young lady hostess initially told us a 20 minute wait. We inquired if we could sit at the bar and she replied that "I think the bar is closed" despite 5 people sitting there eating and drinking. We put our names in to wait that seemed to put off the young lady. We then decided to take out. Pizza came out within 15 minutes. My husband and I are northeast born and raised. We have had access to good pizza all of our lives however we are far from pizza-snobs. Our pizza was of an average size, undercooked and cost $23.50. Certainly not a great experience for us.
It is my favorite go-to place. Great simple food in a relaxed and casual dining environment
OK, so here's the deal. This pizza is legit, had the pepperoni and mushroom pie. I'm from NYC and I have had some of the best pizza there, Di Fara's, Prince Street Pizza, Tony's, Lombardi's, and Grimaldi's Pizzerias. You won't be disappointed at Flatbread Company. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself.
