We got some take-out food from the Dinnerhorn - 2 orders of their clam chowder and salads. The clam chowder was absolutely delicious. It was so good, my husband got it for take out 2 more times this week. Yummy and we'll definitely be ordering that again and again!
We went here last Thursday, place is basically geared towards the elderly. My fiance got Chicken Madeira$23.5 good sized portion, my daughter got theChicken Fettuccine$23, again, good sized portion. I got the Captain's Plate$33Scallops, clams, shrimp and haddock.... The portion was not very good for the price. Came on a very large plate which made it look even smaller. Being on the coast, that plate should have been full! I frequent a restaurant in Salisbury Mass, Sylvan street bar and grill. $25 and I have 2 meals ... Twice as much food as what Dinnerhorn gives you . Also our waitress was in her own world, attentive at the get go, then no where to be found when we needed drink refills or needed condiments ... We had a $25 dollar gift card, asked her to take it off the $106 bill and my girl and I were gonna split the rest down the middle... She comes back with the 2 checks, one at $53 and some change for my girl and $28 for me.... She said I think I messed it up ?We collectively agreed that we won't be back.
Absolutely fantastic. We love the Dinnerhorn! Our waitress Sarah was friendly and timely. We both got the baked stuffed haddock with the lobster cream sauce and it was amazing as always. This place hasn't changed in years but why would you, it's perfect!
great place to eat. seafood was cooked perfectly & the chicken quesadilla was made from scratch & the best I've ever had. highly recommend this place!
We arrived a bit late, Worried we would not get served, to our delight they had no issues, we were not rushed and had the most fantastic Meal, My wife and I both agree 5 stars! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting.... We will return...
Food was good and the service was great. We have a lot of kids, so it was nice to have a relaxed, good seafood place with something for them as well. Service was incredible with them as well.
Good food, easy to find, confusing, we wanted the Bratskeller, under the same roof, thinking we were in for some German food. But no. The had bratwurst pizzas??? I was hoping for Nuremberg Brats but they weren't German at all, so... confusing. Seafood was good, portion size very adequate, watch the salads ? they had some very unappetizing spoiled lettuce. Some things are great some adequate. Dated atmosphere but enjoyable. Trying to find a dining establishment in the covid times is hit or miss, this one was easy to find and worth the stop.
First time ever trying a lobster roll and I give it a 10/10. The server recommended it cold, but I’m rebellious so I tried it hot and it did not disappoint. My friend got the seafood combo and I was almost jealous…. ALMOST. Just gotta get it next time ? good prices good food and GREAT service! Thank you!
Shane was a phenomenal waiter. You couldn't ask for a better personality. The seafood was wonderful. I had the broiled sampler for my meal. We had onion rings and steamed clams as apps. The meal, the staff, and the environment was awesome.
