Went there about an hour and half before close and they only had "drip coffee" and the machines were already cleaned... The drip coffee selection was poor at best because they were out of most of it...I guess what I'm saying is make up your mind either be open for business or close up shop. The dude that was working seemed more concerned about his girlfriend that was outside instead of making the business money.
Ladies were very busy Thursday morning, maybe shortstaffed? Could never tell. Service was still polite and timely. The bacon egg and cheese was astounding. Great ices tea too. Five star.
in Portsmouth today...the famous coffee place in the center after 90 years has closed...sad face...but wife found this place and thought how lucky you are....come buy and enjoy
Avocado roast was good but they only had plastic forks to eat it with. You could not pick it up witbout making a mess due to the balsamic drizzle. Upon request they cut mine but only into 3rds not bite size pieces. I guess they never anticipated people would actually eat it. Bottom line good food poor execution.
Excellent atmosphere with an attentive staff. We are ordered an espresso martini and a traditional macchiato, both of which were quickly prepared. The drinks were great. Will be returning.
Went here following some of the good reviews. I walked in and felt more as a bother. I ordered a cup of coffee(Togo)asked if they had milk substitute(chose almond milk). They put almond milk in a cup handed me the cup told me the price and said coffee is self serve behind you and walked away. I sat in the back as all tables were taken up by those on their tablet/laptops. Overall ok, just wish it was a bit more friendlier when you walk in.
Better coffees are near, unless you like them weak and mostly milk. Also hotter would be better. On the plus side, nice vibe and decoration!
Really wanted to like this place. Great concept and design, really poor execution. Coffee was good (hot drip). Food was terrible. The poor person making the sandwich and wrap looked like she had never been in a kitchen. Completely unsure of how to make the food and you could taste it. Bland and boring. Also a place that has primarily panini and doesn’t have a pressed should have been a red flag. I’m sorry but toasting is not the same or comparable.
Telling customers to put on a mask while 2 feet away no one is wearing a mask. Wont visit a store that supports tyranny. Coffee was not even good either. Big nope for me.
This is going to make me sound like every other young adult existing within 2022, but the place has a really nice feel to it, good vibes if you will. The atmosphere is one that makes you want to order in and stick around for a while. The combination of coffee bar and actual bar allows for a really nice feeling environment. One where if you walk in and don't spot a beanie on someone's heads in the cooler months you might wonder where all the hipsters are.I ordered a hot chocolate and my boyfriend a chai and we both thoroughly enjoyed them during our visit! The only thing that's slightly confusing is where to place your order. Some of the menus have faded quite a bit, but with chalk its to be expected. Good service and good drinks! We'll definitely be back again.
