Great food, Amazing service!
Fantastic experience: great classical French food in a comfortable setting with gracious hosts. We love Stephan's specialty - stylish potato pie wedges that complement dishes. Mussels are not to be missed :) Leave room for desert. We also attended Stephan's cooking class - a whole new perspective and appreciation on what it takes to create these delicious experiences.
Delicious food. Wonderful, friendly service. Lovely, cozy dining room. Stephan and Chris make you feel as if you're a dinner guest in their home.
We dyed this evening and were seated on time, at a beautiful table and were presented with one of the most outstanding menus north of Boston. Christine is the consummate host and the food was off the charts. In these days of post Covid dining Bridge Street bistrot Is true white tablecloth quality dining in a most casual and relaxing atmosphere. The food had such depth of flavor artful presentation in a flavor that would make Escoffier Himself set up and take notice
Our absolute favorite restaurant! Transport yourself to France with the delightful atmosphere and food. We go often and feel so lovingly cared for each time we go. Never anything left on our plate at the end of the meal and the cocktails are delish! Kudos to the owners for navigating Covid with such warmth and creativity. No detail overlooked. A must to go to while in Portsmouth!
It is great finding a quality French Bistrot in New England. The selection of dishes makes one want to go back to Europe.
The food, service and atmosphere is beyond exemplary! We had a couple of appetizers, a pair of entrees and the creme brûlée for dessert! All perfectly executed and simply delicious. We will be back again and again.

We had an amazing dining experience outside on a chilly evening. Heaters galore; we were extremely comfy even though the outdoor temp. was in the mid 30's (do bring a jacket and even a blanket if you wish!). Food was spectacular. We will be back!
