Absolutely terrible experience at this location. I was to preface by saying the restaurant was not at all busy. We were seated at a booth that was filthy. Crumbs all over the seats, crumbs and caked on food on the table top. We tried to move to the booth next to us and it was also absolutely filthy!!! The hostess saw us standing and started to approach us. We kindly asked that they clean one of the tables. She VERY rudely exclaimed "it's not THAT dirty!!" While proceeding to pick crumbs off with her bare hand. Honestly, this would have been easily solved with her grabbing a rag and a spray bottle and cleaning one of the booths. Instead, we left and drove to the applebees 35 minutes away in Haverhill, MA and had a clean and great experience. The Haverhill location was actually quite busy as well, and they were not only clean but kind and friendly.Imagine what the kitchen looks like if this is what the dining room looks like! I would not recommend anyone going to this location.
Food was cold broccoli was rock hard and charges me 3$ for the broccoli! Then my Appetizer was suppose to be half off an was charged full price another manager at a different location said it’s all in the system and can not be changed if you end your meal after the time the half price apps end 2-5 and 9-close which is a lie cause the waitress changes my price! I always loved Applebee’s but this is twice now so I’m all done thanks anyways!!
Slow service. Had a 10 minute wait and the restaurant was not busy at all. Our server Keri had no personality and wouldn’t even let us borrow a pen even though she had multiple in her apron for the kids. My steak was over cooked. I ordered it medium rare and it was well done and there was no apology only a statement that she put it in correctly. Our bar drinks came well before our waters.
We stopped in for a late lunch and it was delicious. Service was excellent and attentive. My husband had the Oriental Chicken Salad and loved it. I had their Chicken Tender Plate, and that was really good as well. Our waiter was excellent - great service and he intuitively knew when to check on us and bring us drink refills. A great lunch all around!
We decided to go to Applebee’s last night normally they have good food. I believe the portions are pretty small for the price that you pay! I was not happy with our waitress she never smiled once, and it was like it was an inconvenience for us to be there. I believe if you’re going to be working with People you should at least put on a fake smile. I know people have bad days however when I go out to eat and spoil myself I want to be in a happy atmosphere, We had to wait there for a bill because she wasn’t paying attention to our table as a waitress you need to be Observing your tables to see if anybody needs anything. It was OK experience I don’t know if I go there again though.
Awesome lunch with the wife we had a couple cheese burgers they were hot and yummy. Always love the 2 for 24 deal makes u want to get out for an hour and go have lunch.
Ordered the quesadilla burger. It was different but very good. Order onion rings with it. Five big rings were served. I would have enjoyed 10! But the 5 were plenty. Good service.
I wish I could give zero stars! My friend and I drove from Saco, ME to Portsmouth to do a little bit of shopping and decided on Applebees for dinner. We waited a considerable amount of time to be seated, but then we thought all would be ok. Our server got us our drinks and asked if we were ready to order. My friend needed another minute so I ordered an appetizer. The appetizer came, we ate it all, and we realized our server had never come by to take our order. I had to go to the bar, and then stand and wait because no employees were present on the floor. The server finally emerged from out back and seemed confused when I told him we had been waiting to order. “Oh, my bad” he said. We decided to go ahead and order. The person that brought out our food was pleasant. The server paid no attention to us and we had to wait for refills and flag him down, and then the check never came. My friend got irritated and went to the car while I waited. Finally got the check but then had to wait and wait and wait for him to come take my card and then get it back to me. I ALWAYS tip well, and am not ashamed to say I didn’t tip at all this evening. It wasn’t slammed, our server had plenty of time to stand around and talk and scratch his back…. We won’t ever be back.

Went in for lunch, not a single person in the entire restaurant was wearing a mask.NONE of the staff was masked.Definitely did not stay
