My wife and I had lunch at Lilac Blossom, our first visit. It's a white table cloth restaurant, and the attentive but not intrusive waiter wore a pleated formal shirt with bow tie and cummerbund. It has a listed dress code of "No hats, No slippers", but it wasn't enforced on the young man who wore a baseball cap backwards, no doubt so he could express his individualism. They won't be enforcing the rules, but it shows their vision of presenting refinement. It all gives the dining room a slightly upscale feel, a nice atmosphere, refreshing, not stuffy. A gratis appetizer of fried chips (need a better word) with duck sauce was set on the table at the time we ordered. The food was good. We'll be back.
Best food anywhere. Very high end Chinese Food. Well worth the price. Service was excellent. Drinks were good. Restaurant was very clean.
Terrible. Just looking for a quick snack, so I went online and checked out the website. Noticed that they had beef teriyaki appetizers for $8.95 and thought I’d try it. When I went to pick it up they charged me $17 and said they don’t go off the website anymore. The meat was chewy and the portions were tiny. I think I spent about 20 bucks an ounce for this less than mediocre snack. They should be ashamed of themselves, I will never come back to this place and I would recommend anybody that reads this to avoid this place. What a rip off!
Very nice environment. Food was delicious. I make a point of eating there every time I'm in the area.
Rudest waiter experience ever. Will not be visiting or recommending this place. It is understandable that folks are hurting and there is shortage of restaurant staff but what we experienced defeats the purpose of going to a restaurant. The waiter was super rude throughout the service and we felt that we were getting yelled at on asking questions. He topped it off by demanding a higher tip. When we raised the rudeness concern with the manager he dismissed us. The issue of bad behavior got turned into as if we were not wanting to tip.
Rude rude rude!!Waiter was extremely rude during the entire duration of our visit. When we then tipped him appropriately he demanded a better tip and told us what we gave him was not enough! When we complained to the manager about the same , the manager said he would do nothing about it and it wouldn’t matter to him if we never came back again !!We have been going here for many years and this experience has really soured it for us! Never stepping in here again!!!
I want to love this place. The wait staff are great, attentive, and very friendly. The restaurant is very clean, s are the rest rooms.90% of all the foods I have tried are very good, and priced in line with other restaurants of it's kind. Some of the dishes I have tried have had some texture issues, (like the beef used in the beef and broccoli being gummy)...But that may be a personal issue with me and nobody else. All the rice dishes, egg rolls, and crab rangoon for example are excellent. Parking is ample and the portions are as expected. This just misses 5 stars, Give them a try.
Generous portions of first-rate traditional Chinese-American fare with top notch libations! We love Lilac Blossom's menu and always have great service. In restaurant or to go.
The food and service are exceptionally excellent. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
