Best guacamole! Terrific and fast service. Food has been great every time we have gone. Good drinks and excellent daily specials
As a Vegan who also has a gluten sensitivity it's difficult to find places you can eat as well as trust. I feel Frontera is one of these places. Although there isn't a ton on the menu for me I hope they will add some vegan options in the near future and the lack of options is why I gave 4 stars but for most this should be a 5 star experience. I highly recommend getting their made to order right at your table guacamole it's amazing!
They're like most chains; atmosphere heavy yet light in food and service. The food is adequately ok but the portions are small. The service was also adequate but seemed like they were just going though the motions without really caring. I'd go back if they were the only place nearby, but I'll choose somewhere else when I can.
The salsa tastes like tomato juice and is very, very (yes very) salty! I like to give second and 8th chances, but it tastes salty every time. Although it does come in a cute little bottle to pour, it doesn't make up that it tastes terrible and inedible. thankfully they have a decent variety salsa cart! Food is ok... I recommend the street tacos. Very overpriced drinks! More mixer than anything in the margarita. No problems with service, they were fast. Thankfully.
awesome place with great customer service
Tacos were amazing and the freshly made guacamole was phenomenal. Service was friendly and upbeat.
Amazing progress. We visited but did not rate this place some years ago. Today's dine-in meal was a great improvement! Chile relleno was one of the best I've ever eaten. The real corn chips were outstanding. The side dishes of guacamole, rice and beans were all works of culinary art! As I cook all these dishes (ok, my wife is the real cook at home) I can say today Frontera " beat Bobby Flay".Most of the way done she asked: you don't like your margarita? No, it was excellent. I was so enamoured of the meal I'd hardly touched drink!!. Bravo!!
The only reason why I rate a 3 we went for happy hour and was charged full Price even though I saw the bar tender poured our drinks from a premixed jug. So when you go for happy hour make sure you mention it don’t assume the bar tender is going to charge you the happy hour cost. We still tip 20% but I was not happy.
To avoid the crowds, we had lunch on May 6th. The food was wonderful, although my husband was a bit disappointed that the condiment bar had been discontinued. The staff was not as attentive as the last visit, but we chalked it up to exhaustion from the day before. The hot queso dip appetizer is not to be missed!
Ordered steak and was served chicken (burrito)Server was nowhere to be found and when they finally came around and I mentioned it, they said you should have said something sooner...Blame the customer, that's their excuse. Overall the food is good but the service wasn't and the cook was clueless obviously.
