Honestly I walked out when I saw they charge for bread service. That is unheard of and I have been to expensive restaurants, Michelin star restaurants and private clubs such as the soho house both in NY and Miami.Also menu was over priced for what was offered. I guess if people in this area want a faux fancy restaurant then this is the place but it's a hard pass from me.
Was in town visiting a friend. And decided to stop by for lunch. I've had Burtons (nashua location) once before. And as we were finishing our lunch, and our waiter was bringing us our check- we saw a mouse on the floor. I thought this was a fantastic restaurant. But I won't be eating here again. And I keep on checking to see a reply. Owner is replying to other reviews BUT MINE. SHOWS YOU HOW MUCH THEY CARE ABOUT SAFETY AND SUCH.
Burtons used to have some of the best food. They have really been disappointing the last few times. Last night we went and I chose the chicken cordon blue. Anyone that has had CCB knows you get a piece of chicken stuffed with ham and cheese and usually breaded.I got 3 chicken strips, with Canadian bacon and cheese just placed on top and melted.My wife's resotto was meh. Kinda cold and not the same flavor as it's had. It still got two stars only for the couliflower app
Lovely atmosphere and amazing menu options. Our server was SO kind and absolutely charming. Will definitely be back!
My sister took me to Burtons Grill for lunch. We each ordered the Superfood Salad. It was delicious! The chicken on top was thinly cut and perfectly cooked. The salad had spinach, julienned carrots and some other veggies, quinoa and dried cranberries. The dried cranberries gave every bite a sweet pop. The service was a little slow, but boy did that salad make up for it!
One of my favorites is the short rib grilled cheese sandwich. This one, while good, was far from the yummy norm I get. Plus I really preferred your homemade potato chips but they weren't being offered.
first time going to this place and it was soo worth it! i also got spinach & artichoke dip it was so bomb, and the drinks were amazing as well!! definitely will be back. love the setup inside gives it a fancy feeling with the lights dimmed
In town for hockey, stopped here for an early dinner, about 4pm. Walked in place is clean, nice size bar, and tall ceilings. Very open. Menu had nice options, had a shrimp appetizer, I enjoyed it, burger and sweet potato fries they were excellent, they have steak and other higher end meals I was just craving a burger. Service was good the management was really sharp. I had desert, it was OK not great chocolate cake, it was a good presentation just not for me, it's no knock on the place just not for me. All three cost me $50 bucks plus tip. I would definitely go back and try another meal. Impressed with management really they were at my table twice. I like that, means they are paying attention. I should also I have a food allergy and they confirmed that 3 times as they brought the food out. Just attention to detail was great. Definitely worth a stop in!
My girlfriend and I were delighted to dine here on 4/2; after having a regrettable service incident at another local "Smokey" place. With that being said, the service was outstanding, along with the food! As two former cooks in fine dining restaurants, I can say that the experience was worth every penny; and we will be returning on the regular! Thanks for turning our day around!
