The working hours on the restaurant door says 12-5:30. Came here at 5 and it was closed. I was really looking forward to eating baklava and getting some Turkish coffee. I will change this review once they honor the hours of operation and when I taste the food and drinks.
Plenty of food options on the menu and some special made drinks. The food taste good, there are unique flavor options and customer service was polite. The Tamarind drink was really good, first time I've had it as a mixed drink. Interior is limited on seating and could use some updates. A nice area, convenient to traffic but not too busy.
This place is a hidden gem! I ordered the chicken shawarma pita, delicious! There were only two people working (I assume the owners). They were hustling to take care of guests and cook everything, but you could tell they did it with love - both by the way guests were treated and how good the food was!
This is a great restaurant! I have wanted to try it for quite some time now and finally got the opportunity today. My wife and I chose to try them out for an early dinner today and are we ever glad we did. Don't let the fact you are ordering at the counter and seating yourself fool you. This is not a fast food restaurant. it is a quality meal. Yes, you need to wait for your food, but again, this isn't fast food. They are making the food fresh to order and it is AMAZING! Besides, you don't wait any longer here than at a restaurant where they wait on you at your table. We ordered the mixed Shawarma with Biryani rice, salad and pita bread. It was all very flavorful.The man and woman working there were very nice and clearly put a lot of love into the meals they make. My wife and I plan to make this a regular stop each month as the staff (owners?) were wonderful and the food was fantastic! Thank you so much Zem Zem, we will be back!
Excellent food and super nice owners running the place. Highly recommend trying a bit of everything. Great place to do lunch or an early dinner. Wouldn't say it's a nice date night restaurant but not intended to be.
This was an amazing find! I got chicken Tikka, and the seasoning was delicious and the rice and salad + dressing were excellent. Also got the hummus chicken schwarma appetizer, and oh my goodness that is the BEST hummus I've ever had. Ever. Delicious. My husband had the falafel and he said it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Highly recommend! Can't want to try more!
Great place for Mediterranean food! The food is fresh, the rice is absolute perfection, the bread is the perfect amount of crispy, it's awesome!!! If you love Mediterranean food, go here.
Some of the best falafel I've had in a long time. The owners were lovely, and they were more than accommodating of my vegan diet!
Absolutely delicious middle eastern food. I had the combo shwarma and it's a perfect lunch sandwich. We also got the platter of appetizers (hummus etc) and it is out of this world! Delicious homemade food. Bakery items that are unique and delectable as well. We will be back on our next trip through Manchester!
Amaazing middle eastern food! The whole Menu from start to finish is great. The food is very tasty and can’t get better. Try Muhamara, Falafel, chicken Tika and Lamb Tika plates. ..Also, the prices are fair for the portion size. I have to travel 50 miles to get food from this amazing Restaurant. I love the service at the place and the chef is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! Always a great spot to get great Mediterranean food.I highly recommend this place
