I was inspired by the TV commercial for the 5-piece chicken. My intention was to dine there since it is a 20 mile drive (Being the only Popeyes I know of. The lobby was open only to door-dash pickup. I was rudely instructed I had no choice but order via drive-thru. The Pandemic is OVER... Not one person there was wearing a mask... At the VERY LEAST, they could offer a picnic table! So, without choice, I go to the drive-thru. The person on the other end of the drive-thru speaker was everything BUT helpful. Finally getting him to understand I anted the 5-piece as advertised with a large red-bean-rice. I go to pay. To the Window... That gentleman disappeared with my card and order slip (Uncomfortable Transaction!!). He returns with a bag, and my receipt... The slip clearly said: 2 Leg Mild, Thigh Mild, Wing Mild, Breast Mild. So I proceed home where i have a table and chair available to consume a meal. I open the box and the contents were 5 SMALL WINGS. I call the restaurant manager and state my disappointment. She said I got 5 pieces and "THAT WAS THE PROMOTION". She further refused to offer any assistance. NOT the Popeyes courtesy I remember!!!
Absolutely the worst Six cars in front of me Waited over an hour For a small order They need to get it together and stop hiding behind covid and open the dining room this is ridiculous can't believe they are still in business they do one order at a time from start to finish then ask next car what they want...then after an hour in line I was told to park on the other side of lot while they cook my popcorn shrimp another 15 minutes went by meanwhile my other food is just getting cold, when I finally got the popcorn shrimp they were cold as well, I would have left after 20 minutes In driving thru but couldn't back out of line, they make it impossible! The worst drive-thru experience ever! Can't believe they run a business like this, get it together or shut it down!
They charge for sauce now? And why is it that the cheesecake pies are ALWAYS out of stock? Every since I've been to every single pop eyes in new England they seem to always be out. Just tell us you don't want to make them. This happened before covid too. This location seems to be hit or miss. Biscuits were burnt on July 4th. Fries are getting less and less. Chicken was okay. And my sandwich had aroijf a gallon of Mayo on it. Just think they need to get a little better.
This place started out fine when they first opened but quickly went downhill. Between the constant mistakes on orders and the incredibly rude staff I wouldn't recommend wasting your time. Sure the food is decent, but it's not worth dealing with the low level of customer service. Upper management seriously needs to take a look at the people being hired at this establishment.
Just spent 22 minutes in the drive thru, for them to tell me it will take 15 minutes for an order of spicy tenders. Almost 40 minutes for 3 tenders?!? I could cut flour and breadcrumb 3 tenders at home in 15 minutes. Every time I come here it's a problem. I understand they are busy, but it's not like they didn't expect it, the place is packed 24/7 and has been since opening day. On top of that there is a legitimate homeless camp touching the drive thru line, with trash everywhere spilling into the parking lot. The place just feels dirty. Steer clear. As much as it pains me to say you're better off with kfc.
I was very disappointed with my experience at Popeyes in Manchester, NH. It was my first visit to this location and will be my last. First, my order was 3 chicken tenders. It came with a biscuit and fries and a drink. The drink was watered down and flat. The biscuit was stale and hard and the fries were soggy, and there were only about 10 fries. The chicken was inedible. It was undercooked and greasy and the quality of the chicken was so terrible. It was like they took the scraps of chicken that I would throw away after trimming, and put breading on it and fried it. I would have returned it but the location of the restaurant made it difficult to turn around and go back. Even waiting in the drive though was unpleasant. There were potholes and broken curbing in the parking lot. The hill next to the drive through was covered in trash, like a homeless encampment, and the landscaping looked like it belonged at a haunted house. This is a prime example of why some franchises from the south don't survive in the Northeast. I've eaten at these restaurants in other parts of the country, and the food has been good. Even at airport and rest area locations. The food that I purchased went directly into the dumpster when I got home. The owner of this franchise should be very embarrassed by the way the location operates.
Zero stars if I could. A sweet tea turned into a diet soda and the kids meal was missing the apple juice applesauce AND the French fries. Couldn't go back because the drive through line is so long and you can't go inside the building. Kid serving us also said we couldn't get extra sauce unless we paid for it. Complaint forthcoming to corporate. They could care less about their customers or doing their job is the impression I got.
The drive through is very slow. Where's the manager, what's happening inside??? And the driveway has to many potholes, get it fixed! This location should be better managed, I used to be a fast food manager. This location must have low scores, only the chicken is coming up right.
TERRIBLE!!, Never wasting my time again here. I personally love Popeyes so I was down for the 45 minute wait, UNTIL I got my food, Cold fries!, Stale Bread!, then they don’t even properly place everything neatly it’s like they throw it in the box because my bread was Mushed aswell. extremely disappointed and I’d give the store 0 Starts if I could.
I pulled up to the drive thru at 4:02pm on sunday. Finally pulled out of the drive thru at 4:26pm.I ordered a 4 piece spicy combo and a 12 piece nugget combo. Not sure why it took so long. The zombie at the drive thru window never made eye contact or spoke to me. He just handed a bag out the window and then my drinks all while talking to two other guys just standing around. They forgot my straws. I wasn't given a receipt (probably because they ripped me off by charging me for individual pieces instead of combos, yeah they do that). My chicken was luke warm at best. I know for a fact chicken has to be 160 degrees to be served so you're violating health codes there.Popeyes has one of the most streamlined menus around but they can't seem to stay on the ball, especially during their rushes. If I wanted this poor quality of food I would go to KFC. You guys need to step up your game. I live a 3 minute walk from a fried chicken shop... I made the drive to south willow specifically for the best chicken and biscuits in town... My mistake.
