First visit. Nice environment, amazing service and everything you’d expect and hope for in a small town family run Italian restaurant. To be honest I was a guest and I’m not a big Italian Food fan especially dishes heavy with cheese or tomato sauce but if you are this is your place! As one who has cooked Italian most of my life for friends, I know what is a crowd pleaser and it’s no wonder this place is always busy. I had the egg plan parmigiana and others at the table had veal, chicken, marsala, and piccata. Dishes were finished and enjoyed. If you love Italian and are in town, this is your place!
Came back as our prior visit left us very happy. I had pasta primavera but asked for garlic cream sauce instead of marinara to which they came through 100%. Hubby had veal marsala again as he loved it so much.
Great place to enjoy a really nice Italian meal! Drinks are made perfectly and the deserts are to die for (which I wasn't sure I had room for)!! Never rushed, but perfectly timed.
We had the most wonderful meal at Piccola restaurant tonight. We are in Manchester for a conference and didn't have a clue where to have dinner, as I have a Gluten Allergy. This restaurant offers GF Pasta & breadcrumbs, so I could eat almost everything on the menu. Our server, Chailyn, was phenomenal, truly so amazing. We ordered the "At table Caesar Salad" and didn't realize that Chailyn was going to make us homemade Caesar dressing and the salad right in front of us - literally the best Caesar Salad I've ever had. Truly a wonderful find and so great for my allergies! Thank you!
F.I.A.S.C.O. From the very beginning this was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. The host was more interested in his phone than the patrons. Our waiter has no business being anywhere near a restaurant. Waiting on clientele is not his calling. Never once checked on us after taking our order. Appetizer of stuffed portobello mushroom was too breadie and lacked flavor. Rolls were under cooked. Waited over an hour for our entres. And then found out that our waiter entered the wrong dish for my wife. Spoke to a manager who mis understood me and delivered our meals to go. Took one meal off and gave us a free dessert. She was waiting tables as well. Maybe everyone I the from was just too busy to really focus on the customer. Piccola Italia came highly recommended. I would never go back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very disappointing. If I could give negative stars I would.
Quick bite was the plan stayed for the meat sauce and some dessert with coffee what a treat. Great staff and good prices. Recommend
Service was phenomenal, chicken marsala was good mushrooms very fresh chicken tender. Good portion. Calamari was a let down! So sad because was main reason for going. Half breaded and oil logs so soggy. The meat itself was chewy. Couldn't eat all of it because so tough. Rest of meal was great just won't order that again.
My husband and I had dinner here on the Saturday before Valentine's. It was very busy so we were glad to have a reservation. They had roses and candles on the tables. The wait staff were polite even though they were definitely very busy. The Caesar salad was tasty and fresh. I got the lobster-stuffed veal and my husband got the lobster-stuffed chicken. We were both pleasantly shocked to realized "lobster-stuffed" actually meant "several whole lobster claws" and not just "cream cheese with specks of lobster in it". So that was awesome to people like us who love lobster! The veal and chicken were excellent, the pasta tasted fresh. Mine had a really excellent sherry sauce. We got large enough helpings for two meals! I had leftovers for dinner the next night :) for dessert we had the house-made cannoli with chocolate chips. The filling was a really mild sweet ricotta, not super sugary like some places make. The cannoli shell was crispy and flavorful! Overall, 10/10 for taste and experience. Will definitely come back the next time we are in the mood for Italian food or a romantic date night!
My girl and I made reservations here. This was my first time being here, the customer service was good, the atmosphere was relaxing. The martini was delicious! The scallop and lobster dish was creamy and exquisite! The meatballs were full of flavor and the sauce was very well seasoned! This place is expensive compared to other places. But, if you want to go here for a special occasion, I highly recommend it!!
Had the best shrimp scampi of my life from Piccola. Most places put too much garlic but it was just right here! Also got the tiramisu and it was very good
