Today I happened to stop at the Hanover street location twice. The first time the drive thru was incredibly long so my friend and I went inside. They were clearly understaffed and working as hard as they could. My friend just wanted a drink, but he likes to make it a specific way (Dr. Pepper, Coke and Root beer mixed) and the self service machine was down. But Abraham (I believe to be the manger?) was very quick to make his weird drink quickly (and I guess perfectly). Due to how busy they were and that I was only there with a friend I didn't really want anything we left.I later returned and went inside again. This time I ordered my usual (Two McDoubles with no onions, two small fries and a drink) as I was waiting a gentleman entered and asked for a strawberry smoothie, to which Abraham (still working hard) apologized that they weren't able to make smoothies but he would be happy to comp any other item on the menu. He suggested a strawberry shake and the man ordered one and a chocolate milkshake. Abraham comped them both and insisted when the man offered his card. While continuing to wait I had a pleasent conversation with the other customer which actually included another customer who was just leaving after eating. It was nice.So when I got my meal, Abraham apologized for the wait (again, totally understandable considering how few people were working) and he also gave me a complimentary meal voucher which was really awesome. For such an overwhelming amount of customers the small team working seemed to be really keeping it together. My meal was perfect, fries were perfectly hot enough to hold, burgers didn't look like they were thrown together, and not one single onion! PERFECTION! Which reminds me, Abraham specifically asked me if I had a food allergy when I requested no onions, which is the FIRST TIME EVER I have been asked that question, at any establishment, and that I find immensely impressive! And no I'm not allergic I just hate them lol.So thank you, Hanover Street McDonalds for keeping it cool under that pressure on such an oppressively hot day.And a specific thank you to Abraham for all his kind effort. Everyone there today deserves a raise.
This is the 2nd time I waited in line at this McDonald's. I had no choice at 11pm and in a rush. But could have gone anywhere in town by the time I made it to the window to order. 35 min wait in drive thru. Hard to leave after 15 mins you feel like your wasting your time. 3 people with McDonald's uniforms over throwing trash in the dumpster. He'll put them to work bad management at night. Expensive 3 burgers fries 15 bucks
Absolute chaos at this McDonald's. I don't know if I've ever seen a less organized fast food place, and I've been to a lot of them.On my last visit I had the following happen:-The drive through worker charged me for another person's order despite my order being paid in full with the app-The worker that brought my food out to me gave me the food for an order that wasn't mine or even the extra one they made me pay for.And of course they can't give you any kind of refund without going back to the store, but why would I ever want to spend my limited lunch time going back to this store?
It's a hit or miss. I guess it depends on who is working that day. Got fresh hot food that was not smoothed together 1 time, the next time the fries were old and cold so.....
Honestly would go out of my way for any other McDonald’s. Old guy need to learn new management skills because he is a joke. Learn how to run a shift properly and not complain to customers about your call outs. On top of making people wait half an hour to an hour for food. so professional…
Wow they did a remodel.Everything looks so cheap. They did expand the kitchen they needed so badly. The dining area looks like they put it all together with 10 bucks.
Breakfast burrito wraps are always dried out, fries are usually always cold at this location. Ice cream machine is always broken as well but staff is always polite and friendly.
Horrible service, terrible, inconsistent food quality and the absolute worst drive-thru in town.
Terrible staff and terrible management. Had to order on the kiosk because noone came to the register. Food took 20 min as we watch countless cars go through the drive through. Never gave us drink cups had to help ourselves behind the counter to get them because noone came over to help.
Every experience is bad. Whether it is not having fresh hot fries, food missing or the wrong soda, it barely ever comes out right. Makes me never want to go back due to being let down after giving chance after chance.
