Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream!! Look the white Russian ice cream is awesome!!!! So, much in fact that when I was there I convinced 3 tourists to eat it. The seafood is known for being great and you can order inside or outside. If you want to sit outside and eat, you will be doing in your car. But, it is still a nice place and don't get me started on their ice cream serving size!!
So i went here today after coming for ice cream plenty of times. I was in the mood for seefood i got the sea food plater. The portions are awesome. The sea platter was absolutely delicious not one issue. everything cooked to a t. Little pricey but u definitely get 2 meals out of it some there and some to go. Must say the staff is always more than polite. Definitely one of my favorite to go to get ice cream or seafood. Need to try the rest of there food.
Good food, great ice creme, friendly staff, but poorly organized during our visit.Called in orders had a separate line and then they didn't. Call in orders were waiting in long lines to pick up now cold food.Outdoor windows closed for no apparent reason, led to really long line going into restaurant.Always recommend this restaurant, just needed more help that night.
The food is always tasty and plentiful . Been going there since I was born. The owners take pride in what they serve and so does the staff.
My family and I have been going to Goldenrods since the world was flat. My wife and I went Friday 12/31/21I noted at first, my usual plate of fried clams that I always get cost me $27.00. Well, okay... The world is more expensive these days. But we both were surprised when we got our order, that the plate has been replaced with a smaller basket.I got 18 fried clams... For 26.99... HmmmmI was never able to finish my meal in one sitting, ALWAYS had last overs. This time, I finished all of mine and some of my wife's meal as well. Both of us realized that the amount of food seemed less. However, on the positive side, the food was as delishes as usual.We will be rethinking our choices the next time we go out for dinner

Our food quality has been consistently good, although it seems that our "to go" food is just thrown in is container and sent on its way. I like the turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy and it looks like it's been through a blender when I open the container. life is good, the food is good... why complain?. i think the portions could be bigger... I'm 6'4 and 250 though. I recommend this place, and try a frappe here, they're delicious.
BEST chicken fingers around! Home made ice cream to die for. Bought 2 quarts to bring home for Thanksgiving at relatives the next day. It was a HUGE hit!
