We found this restaurant close to our hotel and decided to go and gave it a try. We ordered soup noodles, and they did a great job, with authentic Thai food.
Was looking for a good Thai place and found this place. The first night I called for take out I had to call 7-8 times before someone picked up. Thought I would give it another try as the food wasn't bad so again called for take out and after literally 12 calls no one picked up. By this time I was there so I walked in and said hi I liked to order take out and gentleman looked at me and said "sorry can't do it" and points to the dining area which was busy. So, I say excuse me as this has NEVER happened to me. He looks at me and says "yup can't do it" Now, yes they were busy but seriously? I don't care how good the food is to me this was rude and unprofessional, there were so many other he could have handle this. It all worked out as it forced me to try Lemon Thai Cuisine which was awesome, food was great, service was quick and they pick up the phone after the second ring! What a concept!
This place had the absolute best Thai food I've ever had. The curry puffs were amazing and the spicy shrimp soup was incredible. This place is legitimately worth the drive from Concord!

The freshest food with awesome flavor and so many choices!! Even thought the the menu is clearly marked GF the staff took time to explain how my meal would be prepared GF. They also shared the heat level of the different foods and checked in to make sure the spice level wasn't to hot after the meal arrived. Love Daw Kun Thai!!!
First, the negative: the steamed dumpling are unique in not a good way. And, as others have noted, the service (coming out of the kitchen) was slow. But our other dishes were very good, the single put front worker was pleasant, and the prices were reasonable. Plus there is a convenience store with wine and beer adjacent to get a beverage to accompany your takeout order.
Best Thai I have had!! They cook to order so they could take out what I am food sensitive to. Friendly staff, family run, local. We had Mou Satay, Pad Thai with pork and a flat rice noodle dish.sooo good!!

Best drunken noodles in all the land. Can't say any more because that's all I ever have. It's that good!
