Been here few times and definitely great food with friendly staff. Cut mirchi was perfectly crispy and reminded us of real hyderabad food. Tried their special lamb saffron biryani which lacks spice and flavor and there were no fried onions in the biryani which is a must for hyderabad biryani. Egg biryani was good and the mirchi salan was a perfect match for the biryani. Ordered chili chicken but there was too much vinegar. However, they happily removed that from our order. Definitely will go back for their authentic southern Indian food.
The food warmed my desi heart, especially the masala chai and the panipuri. Also loved the butter chicken, garlic naan, and chole baturey. This was my second time visiting the place. In my prior visit, I had ordered chicken biryani and was utterly disappointed with that because it felt dry and was extremely spicy. This time, while I refrained from ordering it again, my friend ordered it, and I tried a little bit. It was way better this time, slightly increasing my average score. Even though I loved the food, there was one remark by the staff there that I felt was slightly demeaning to my white friend (who's not accustomed to desi culture/food and doesn't understand the language). Thus 3 stars instead of 4. Because no matter how good your food is, it's a disgrace if you bodyshame your patrons.Pics attached: chai, panipuri (photo 1)Naan, chicken butter masala, choley baturey, and the biryani.
I came to this restaurant about two weeks ago . The weather was chilly and was given some goat feet curry which was surprisingly delicious ! So much flavor from the curry itself. It was my first time having goat feet and I can honestly say it was superb! The owners were welcoming and kind . I recommend this spot for a good curry dish . Will be back to try more dishes !
I don't have a lot of experience with Indian food but this place opened nearby to me and I hadn't tried it. I ordered the chicken curry which comes with rice. And the naan bread. While I was waiting for my order they gave me some masala tea which tasted kinda like Chai, and even got to try an appetizer- It's hard to explain it was like a round little crunchy bowl with roasted chickpeas and broth. Everyone is so nice there! I would go back just on their customer service. Anyway I just got home and my food is really really good and there's a lot of it. Everything was made to order and so fresh, especially the naan. I'm definitely gonna have leftovers for a couple days. I will definitely recommend. Also you can request your spicy level. If I could recommend anything maybe play some music cause it's a little quiet. But the food is amazing, chicken very tender, curry sauce was so fragrant and warm on your tongue the spices are perfectBtw- it's called panipuri (the appetizer)
I just ordered here for the 2nd time. This time through uber. the 1st time I got the chicken curry. and it was so good! but I don't know Indian dishes that well, so this time I ordered the curry AND the tikka masala to compare and I guess if I picked one I slightly like the masala better. Masala is more creamy sauce. The rice is perfect for the sauce. I think it is jasmine rice. Both are so authentic and warm and flavorful. Can't wait to try new things from here because I have not been disappointed yet! I'm telling everyone I know to try this place. They have good reviews for a reason
One of the best Mutton Biryani had so far in the United State America.... Proper Hyderabadi Mutton biryani with Mirchi ka Salan, Chicken Tandoori and Sweet.... I definitely recommend everyone around Salem and Boston people to try.
Authentic Hyderabaadi food … Loved dum biryani (chicken and Goat), haleem and khubani ka meetha. Panipuri is one of special. You will get mandi style biryani on weekends. Must visit
My family and I really love this place. It feels like legitimate Indian fare, and the husband and wife duo at the heart of this restaurant are absolutely wonderful. He's the chef, she works front of house, and everything has been absolutely delicious and wait staff very friendly. You have to try the pani puri. Even if you don't typically enjoy Indian fare, you'll love the flavors of this appetizer. This is one of my top five restaurants in Manchester for sure!
Great Food. Visited here for the first time and the food was delicious. We ordered tandoori chicken and chicken biryani and both were amazing. Will surely visit next time. Loved the simplicity of the staff.
Update:9/22/2021: Got a surprise voicemail and call from the owner. He call to apologies on the QC issue. He indicated they have a new hire and is in training. He own up to the QC issue and is happy to get feedback. He offered me to replace the low quantity orders which I happily accepted.Updated 9/21/2021: We were very disappointed when we open the bag. The quantity of the past 2 takeout order are very inconsistence. Some dishes are 1/2 the quantity as the other. Look at the photo we took right out of the bag. Definitely have a bad quality/quantity control issue in the kitchen. The price is the same but the quantity can very as much as 1/2 full. Hope they will fix this QC issue. The food still taste good but very disappointed at the inconsistence quantity.August 2021: First time customer and I am impressed. Preorder online was easy. I ordered the Lamb Korma, Lamb Masala, Chicken Hyderabadi, Dum Ka Lamb and Chicken Chettinad to take home for dinner. All the dishes were delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Will definitely order again.
