Every time I order from here I'm never disappointed! Seriously, people rave about other Chinese spots in Manchester, NH but this spot is truly the best. I'm from NY home to some of the best foods in general. I've tasted the best. I've traveled the country and have tried many many different foods. Cheng Du is truly one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever had!
Cheng Du is our new go-to for Chinese takeout! Excellent food all 3 times we've ordered. The crab rangoons are superior! Portions are very large, lomein and general's chicken top notch. Highly recommend Cheng Du.
First time ordering here and Wasn't impressed. You pay $2.45 extra per combo if you order on door dash (I know the restaurant doesn't control this but I'm pointing out its not worth the extra money) the spring roll and bbq ribs are great (hot mustard is like spicy water though) fried rice bland and hard. Crab rangoon filling is super sweet with tiny flecks of crab. anything that was battered had a funky stale taste to it. The beef teriaki is small and thin. We got orange Chicken and generals chicken and while it tasted ok once you got past the stale flavor it was over cooked and the small pieces were rock hard. Definitely not worth the $40+ that we paid.
I would advise against ordering their lunch special, it's small, rice is thin (put more rice than anything else), egg roll is smaller as well. I LOVE cheng du but definitely the lunch special isn't worth it.

This place is a hidden gem. Just show up some evening a place a order. Always crazy busy, because the food is really delicious and fresh. The low mein and mei fun are soo good. Never disappoints, always impressive.

Working on a jobsite from out of state, came for lunch specials. Probably some of the better take out Chinese I've ever had. The chicken teriyaki and boneless pork spareribs were phenomenal. The food came out quick on a lunch break, and was piping hot. Prices are great as well.
