I ordered a burrito bowl and the rice was super crispy. I also got 2 beers and they were super warm. I asked to get a different one and they said they were all the same temperature, warm. Super unacceptable. Specially for my first time. All this hype about this place but it was TRASH. Maybe a different location does it better.
First time going to California burrito located in Manchester New Hampshire. My daughter was raving about their burritos so I decided to try one today. To place an order online I had to call their phone number and then they send you a text message to start the order. As they get established they may want to get set up with Grubhub and DoorDash and also offer an online ordering system. I was told the order would be ready in 30 minutes and I waited to give a little extra time. In the end after I arrived I had to wait another 20 minutes for my order. The people that are working there are hustling and one young lady was running the register and doing multiple tasks and was keeping the wheels on the bus. The food was definitely worth the wait. I had a make your own burrito and the chicken is good flavor and was well put together. My suggestion would be to the franchisee owner to look at how many people you have at your locations to make sure that they're fully staffed. The reason is as fast as you can get people to come in the door you can lose them just as quick.
I’ve been craving Mexican food like crazy recently. Stopped here after a rough day at work and got a burrito. I feel like I drank from the fountain of youth after devouring this thing! Forget kale and chia seeds. This place serves the real superfood!
My family LOVES California burritos (lovingly referred to as "Cali b" in our house). Definitely recommended ordering ahead, they get busyyyyy and can have quite the wait but its sooo worth it! Try the papusa!
My favorite place to get a burrito in Manchester! Way better than Chipotle. Try the California burrito with steak and fries. There's lots of options, tasty food, and good prices.
My daughter was craving a big fat steak burrito with guacamole, so we did a map search and found C.B. We were not disappointed. We ate in and looked at the art on the walls and watched the people. It was quite busy but the line moved fast. My kid wanted Jalisco soda and they had a couple flavors in bottles. I got a bottle of Mexican coke, with real sugar, very sweet. We both were fulfilled and happy. I will go here again.
I have long preferred California Burrito over the other national chain place, but CB is not convenient for me to get to. However, consistently poor service and food at the other place has inspired me to show my appreciation for California Burrito. These people care about the quality of the food they serve you. I like the option of yellow rice. I like how the heat up the meat in the grill for each order. I like how ingredients are placed so you get some of each I'm every bite and a mouthful of each like the other place. I especially like how they can neatly wrap all the ingredients in the tortilla without breaking it or having loads of juice leaking out everywhere. My one disappointment is that the line tends to move slowly but this is only a result of them putting in the proper effort into every order. Please keep up the good work and please open more locations so I can eat your food more often.
Giving 3 stars because I love the place. However... the past 4 times we've ordered via the text order we've showed up 10-15 min later than the estimated pick up time (to give extra time in case it's busy) only to find the order was never started whether there was a line or only a few people there. Then have to wait for the order to be made while there.
Haven’t been able to find good Mexican food since leaving California 6 years ago, this place is IT!
Loved the Burrito authentic taste of real Mexican eats. Almost reminded me of California street tacos. My favorite burrito place in town. Clean restaurant, speedy and very friendly. Thank you for your service California Burrito ?
