This is by far the best bar in Manchester. Large mixed drink menu the largest in the area. Great place if you are looking to have something you haven't before!
Loved the Vibe at 815... Sort of "Modern Speakeasy" meets "1980's", though that doesn't do it justice. Our server was accommodating and friendly, and you HAVE TO try the Aloha Flatbread (I was full halfway through but couldn't stop eating until it was gone!)
Hostess was lovely but the bartender was a bit surly. Drinks were good!
I don't get the whole Speak Easy hype in the past couple of years. It's really old fashioned and drab feeling and I don't know why anyone would want to sit in uncomfortable low rise chairs eating sub par food with overpriced drinks in a dingy atmosphere. The excessive replies back from the owner are weird also. I noticed that when I was reading the reviews. They make excuses for their establishment instead of simply making the improvement for a better business or atmosphere. They have a sharp and rude reply back for many of the reviews. It's probably how they treat half of their customers.
815 is the perfect craft bar experience located right in downtown Manchester. This place is by far one of the best craft spots around, featuring classics and unique signature cocktails, pairing well with their tapas style food menu.Wanting the perfect first date spot? Check them out!
We recently had a small private (20s themed) party here and the staff went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone loved the food, drinks, staff, and the atmosphere. The drinks, homemade pickles, charcuterie board, tacos, and flatbreads (essentially pizzas) were an absolute hit. This was everyone’s first time at this place and most definitely won’t be the last
I went to 815 a month or so ago on a date. It was a Saturday evening and we arrived kind of early for the bar scene. We were greeted and sat by the owner, Sarah, and another employee (I didn't catch his name). My date and I sat and enjoyed drinks for quite a few hours! We were checked in on frequently, our cocktails were amazing, the environment was perfect too! I dislike having to scream at somebody so they can hear you over obnoxiously loud music, so it was very refreshing to be able to enjoy drinks and conversation in a calm and quieter environment while overlooking Elm St. 815 is the perfect little "hole in the wall" bar and I would bring friends/family/dates back again anytime! Highly recommend!!!
You need a password to get in, which you can find on twitter.Every time I have gone, the drinks were delicious, and the service has been impeccable. All the cocktails are handcrafted, and all the ingredients are fresh. You can tell everything is made fresh in small batches, because they run out of ingredients and take things off the menu.Last night, I had the Nucky (until they ran out of ingredients of course), and it was delicious. I did not have an appetizer, but they look very good. They have a great price fixed New Years Eve. You should go.
The drinks were great, the interior was cozy with really interesting decorations, and it was nice to sit at the window with my friends and watch the snow fall while we enjoyed our drinks.
The bar manager was very kind to me. Fritz (the person serving me on Saturday night) served me the most miraculous of cocktails. It rejuvenated both my cognition and conversations for the rest of the night. I must recommend this bar for anyone looking for a good REST of their night.
