Food is usually really good, had monk fish that was cooked absolutely perfectly, wait times can really long, some of the portion sizes are small

Professional and friendly staff who know how to listen. Our meals were creative and outstanding. Chef's creativity took the evening from typical to an adventure for the palate complimented by fitting wines.
We cannot say enough about this restaurant. Every meal, every bite, is special. We lived just south, in “foodytown” Portsmouth for 20 years, and dined most everywhere. Nothing came close to the consistent quality of Stalk.
Great place, lovely atmosphere, easy reservations, polite staff, great wine, steamed buns were amazing, shrimp entree cooked perfectly. Would recommend for a special occasion meal to friends.
Service was outstanding as was our meals! We had the lollipop lamb and the mushrooms and asparagus appetizers. They were phenomenal! For entrees we had the steak tips with herbed mash and green beans. So good. My son had the pork chop with sweet potatoes and baby spinach. He couldn’t stop raving about it and he is a food snob! Dinner at Stalk tonight was a 5-star experience. This was arguably the best food we’ve had in Dover in 30+ years and it was accompanied by Nicole’s service that was just right. Wow.We will be back, and often. Thank you, Stalk.
My fiancé and I tried Stalk for the first time last night and it was amazing!! The service is incredible, everyone is so nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Their whipped squash and roasted red pepper might be one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted! I had the sirloin and it was amazing. The drinks were great and the dessert as well! Honestly cannot recommended Stalk enough!!
Stalk is such a gem! It’s an adorable little restaurant “hidden” in Dover - the service was extremely friendly & knowledgeable, ambience was great (if you can snag a window seat, I’d definitely do it) & the food was absolutely delicious :)
