This was a solid pizza place discovery. I wouldn't go into this place thinking large floppy NY slices as their large is 15 inches. The crust is nicely charred and crispy adding a great bitter note to your tastebuds and then you get a great simple sauce, rich thick layer of mozzarella, and cutting through all of that was fresh basil. The mozarella was almost too much but the crust supported it all. Cartell's definitely sets the bar for the seacoast and my new favorite joint.

It's taken us a while to get there but we finally ordered a pizza from Cartelli's North End last night and it was fantastic. I shouldn't be surprised since their reviews have been almost universally great. But I'm also a pizza snob and I rarely find one that nears perfection. This one was in fact perfect. We ordered the Roasted Garlic & Pesto and it was SO good. The crust was thin, soft and flavorful, the sauce just the right amount and with a zesty flavor and the cheese the perfect amount and consistency. The flavor combination of the roasted garlic and pesto was perfectly balanced without being overpowering and the pizza was cooked to perfection. Cartelli's is a relatively small place indoors and it was packed. And even though it was a busy Friday night, my pizza was ready in 20 minutes from time of order. I'm hoping they do outdoor dining again this year with the warm weather. The smell of the food inside was mouth-watering and the dishes I could see coming out looked equally appetising. I think the most difficult thing about this place is going to be deciding what to order. We live 5 minutes up the road so this might become a serious problem with my waistline!!
I ordered a couple of dishes for a small group. We planned a pick up time and when we got there they were finishing it up so it was super fresh and hot. It was delicious and cooked perfect. No one would have known it was carry out. It was so full of flavor me fresh ingredients. Penne A La Vodka is Amazing. My guests even commented how good it was. Thank you for a perfect dinner I did not have to prepare.

Tight quarters for in person dining. We went for it and was greeted and served by hostess' and server's not missing a beat. The food arrived well prepared and ready to enjoy. Meatball Parmesan, Bruschetta & French Onion soup to start. ✔️ Cartelli's Pizza next. ? We will be back to save room for dessert!
Get the Marsala, it's amazing! Tiny place, but friendly staff and great food!
The long anticipation for our first dine-in experience was well worth the wait, regardless of some snafu with our order.
I went to Cartelli's North End last night for dinner. I originally was going to do take-out but decided to dine in. I ordered Linguini and Meatballs with a glass of wine. A staple Italian meal that hit the spot. Great flavor all around and the meatballs were perfect.
Have had a hard time finding good pizza since we moved to the area. Well this place is amazing and our new favorite. Will be back for pizza every time we need one.
