Unless you want food poiMy boyfriend had gone out to eat with a few of his friends. He brought back the "sample" appetizer with Bonless chicken wings, spinach and artichoke dip, quesadillas and mozerella sticks. I ate this food Wednsday night around 10 PM as he had brought left overs home and as of about 8 AM both of our stomachs became upset. As of Thursday morning, the two of us had puked beyond belief - I've never had food posioning therefor I didn't know what to expect but this was just awful. I threw up close to 10 times. My boyfriend the same. We pin pointed it to the spinach and artichoke dip as that was the only thing we had both consumed from the establishment. I did not eat that day, prior to the food he had brought home and from the chunk of cheese on the top of the dip I maybe shouldve known better! Worst few days of my life and have genuinely never felt as sick. We are talking projectile vomiting here. I will never eat at Applebees again, and sadly they have always been my go-to.
I brought myself out for mothers day, the restaurant was not super busy. I order frequently from applebees so i know what im getting when i go. I ordered a few drinks, queso, and fiesta lime chicken, same order as always.The queso was grainy to the point i couldnt eat it, the chicken had 0 flavor, and the rice was disgusting. I ate a total of 2 bites of chicken and 1 bite of rice.I didnt ask them to remake (because i knew it would be the same), i paid for all my food... but my waiter didnt even ask how my food was at all. Even leaving everything practically untouched.As someone whose spent a lot of money at applebees, very disappointed.
Stopped in for a few mixed drinks and dessert. I got the blue shark and my husband got the perfect margaritas. My first drink was weak but pretty good flavor wise. The second one was gross. I couldn't drink it. My husband's margaritas were good. Dessert was yummy and our server was very friendly.
The ceo of applebees is using the rising gas prices to reduce the wage of their employees. This is evil, this is wrong. I spent alot of money at applebees, mainly up in eureka ca,never again. Pay your people stop being leaches applebees, your food is microwaved trash anyway
The only reason I'm giving this place a two-star rating is because the waitress was so nice. The food was not good at all. I had a prime rib sandwich and it was so tough I really couldn't eat it I took it home and threw it away. I am not planning on going back there again.
Great food, decent prices, and great staff! If you want to go to a family friendly restaurant, a nice bar with friends, a great date place, or a birthday dinner with grandma, this is the perfect place!
More often than not the food is good enough. Not enough to complain about. Where they really shine in my book is how awesome the staff is when it comes to little kids. My daughter is pushing 2 1/2 and they are fantastic at helping to make sure her needs, and just as importantly her parents needs are met to the best of their ability. Granted, my little one is actually fairly well behaved for her age, and happens to be extra adorable.... I'm not just biased, I'm only speaking facts. Lol I'm willing to bet they're pretty good with little goblins too! Seriously though, I've never had a bad experience with the staff. Well done Dover Applebee's.
I really just didnt like anything. Got multiple appetizers, burgers, ribs, etc. and nothing was good.My ribs didnt have any meat on them at all, it was all bones. I gave up on trying to find meat inbetween the bones and just stopped eating all together.No one at my table could finish their food, not one thing was good. I don't know how you can do fries bad, but the fries weren't good either.Service was very nice, I've never had a server here I disliked however, I'm never going to an Applebee's again, this last time I went was just the worst food I've had at a restaurant.Feels a tad bit like a waste of money I personally think for what youre getting the food could be a few dollars less.Overall just wouldn't ever recommend anyone to go to Applebee's, just dont go to a chain restaurant like this.Support your local independent restaurant, their food is probably way better both price-wise and quality-wise.I just don't like leaving a restaurant on a night out feeling disappointed, like I wasted my money and time.Like I said, service is wonderful. All my servers have been so respectful, nice, and patient. The atmosphere isn't bad either, the problem is ENTIRELY the quality of the food.
Applebee’s is usually my favorite, but this time I was so highly dissatisfied I’m not sure if ill bother going there again. My boyfriend and I went there for lunch and the experience started off great, within 3 minutes the hostess asked us if our waitress has been there yet. After a few more minutes our waitress Kenzie came over. She was very sweet, but after taking our whole order (drinks, app, and food) she never came back over. We waited at least 20 minutes for our drinks while we watched people who got seated after us already drinking and eating appetizers. After we got our drinks, it took another 20 minutes to get our spinach and artichoke dip while we watched more people get seated and get their entrees before we even got an appetizer. When the appetizer came out the chips were stale and overly salted, but we ate them because we were starving. After 30 minutes of waiting for our quesadilla burger and whiskey bacon burgers came out the bacon on bother were so over cooked it ruined all appeal of the meal. Even when I tried to the whiskey bacon burger without the bacon, the onion stings were VERY crunchy and it didn’t taste like a whiskey bacon burger at all. When Kenzie came back over I said I was highly dissatisfied and she asked me if I wanted to have the manager to come over. I asked her to bring the manager over, but instead Kenzie went to the kiosk, talked to the manager and another waitress without bringing her over and I saw all three looking around the corner right at me and I saw the other waitress laughing. After she brought me the check, we paid and instantly left. I always choose Applebee’s as my number one place to go but honestly if I’m going to be ignored for that long and then LAUGHED at, I’m not going there again. It was a waste of money and a huge waste of our day going there.
They dont really have any veggie options but they were very nice and let me order a pasta dish and they just took out the meat. Friendly staff.
