I ordered the cheeseburger omelette…which was great! And the waffle. The waffle was just ok…good flavor but very doughy…I’m Not sure if pancake mix is used but it’s not light and fluffy at all…the complete opposite. Very heavy!

I came here a few years back and it was great portions and price. Today I had to share a breakfast because the price was $15.99 for corn beef and poached eggs on English muffin. Portion was small and added extra $2 for sharing. Corn beef hash was different before too. Price at Tuckers is $12.99 and you get home fries with it and portion is large enough to have to take some home. Other customers complain about not even getting toast included with their meal. Prices are higher but come on.

This was a great find!We were in the area hiking and wanted brunch, and it turned out to be a great decision to come here. The service is excellent, food is amazing and portions are just right.Definitely worth stopping here

There can be no argument about the quality of 2 Home Cooks breakfast dishes. They are consistently delicious, but the prices have become outrageous—on the scale of a good dinner out (without alcohol). This visit came to $58 with tip. Consequently, we won’t be returning there in the future.

Horrible! I ordered the Corned beef hash breakfast ($13.99), but what I got looked more like burned and flattened bark mulch with two okay looking over easy eggs. When I told the server that it looked greasy and didn’t appeal to me, she wasn’t happy but took the meal away. She returned with the meal and asked if I’d like to take it home in a box. Of course not. It was not a breakfast that I would give anyone. I didn’t order anything else because I felt it would take too long. When my friend finished eating, we both received bills. I was supposed to pay for this meal that was far from the quality I’d gotten there in the past. I asked to speak to the manager. She was horribly rude. She asked me if I knew what corned beef hash was. Of course I do, but I’ve never seen it look like bark mulch, in my entire life. I told her my concerns. She reluctantly allowed me to leave without paying. However, she told me to never show my face in her restaurant again. I am banned from that establishment, forever! If I were you, I’d stay away. The quality has suffered with the new ownership, and the staff doesn’t have a grasp of good standards for customer service. Check out the beautiful picture of the corned beef hash with eggs that’s on their Facebook page. Does that look like flattened and burned bark mulch? No! It doesn’t. I sure wish I took a photo.

This is NOT the restaurant it was a few years ago! Do not go! My dining companion received burnt corn beef hash today. My meal was fine but hers was digustingly overcooked. When she politely requested to return the burnt food and order something else from the menu- the waitress stood there looking at her and said that is what you ordered. She had to ask twice for a menu to order something that would not be burnt to a crisp by the time a menu arrived she decided she would not order as I was almost done eating at this point. The waitress brought her a bill expecting her to pay for food that was burnt, not fit for consumption AND immediately sent back to the kitchen without so much as one bite. When she refused to pay for nothing- as she ate nothing- food was returned and drank only water the manager kicked her out of restaurant and told her never to return! In all my years working with the public I have never seen worst customer service!

Food was fine. A little over priced for the portion of French Toast and hash I received although the hash was quite tasty. ($20 for 2 thin slices of french toast, very small plate of hash and coffee) Breakfast was ruined because of a child in a blue shirt that was basically standing over my shoulder the entire time. Not sure if his parents own the diner but it was unnerving having him so close. Also seemed to be getting in the way of the wait staff. Over all not impressed.

Very disappointed with both my husband and my meal. First the waitress wanted to tell me if I changed from scrambled eggs to poached I wouldn’t like enjoy the meal it would just be a plate with ingredients on it. I specifically wanted the meal (Irish bowl) due to it not being served with bread and it came with 3 eggs she tried to get me to order a different one so I’d get bread with my meal. I wanted no bread and an extra egg. When I received my meal I was shorted one egg so that defeated the meal. As far as putting the poached eggs in the bowl over the hash and potatoes that was exactly how I wanted the meal. The portion sizes were very small for the price. My husband ordered a sandwich which stated over hard eggs it came out more over easy he ended up only eating half due to that as he does not enjoy over medium eggs and to also finding a hair in the sandwich. The only good thing about breakfast was the special carrot cake pancake. With a tip our meal came to $62.00, we only had 2 coffees with our meals. I don’t mind paying to eat out but I do wish in return good service and good food. Unfortunately we won’t be returning anytime soon.

The online menu is no longer what they serveI ordered the hash and eggs with toast(No longer give you toast). And it’s about 3 dollars more then stated onlineI even shows the lady a picture of the meal and she said “the hash is a bit more shredded now that’s the only difference )Sorry not sorry for your 12 cent tip
