The food is good but the price has continuously increased over the past 3 years (on the order of 50%+ on some items). I used to go a few times a week but now maybe go once a month. Check out the post downtown. Also good food but have been able to maintain their quality without jacking up price. That being said I still think their Parisian sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've had in nh
Visited last week for breakfast when we were in the area. As usual, food very good, & we were seated promptly. However, my companion used one bathroom & thought it was disgusting. I used a different one & it was fine. But then we noticed just how unclean the place actually was. I always wonder if the restaurant is unclean what the kitchen actually looks like! Fortunately, we were all done eating. Other Tuckers have been much cleaner.
To be fair, I eat a vegetarian diet and Tucker's is definitely not geared toward this type of food. Nonetheless, when I ordered the Pesto Power Bowl without chicken, I expected to have the $16 (!) price reduced as a result. No deal, apparently; I was charged the full price. The salad was OK and not very large. The grilled mini nan was indeed mini. In addition, I asked if the restaurant had Earl Grey tea, which our server said they did. When she brought the tea to the table, it was some sort of green tea in a nylon mesh bag -- and darn little of it, I assure you. The entire experience put me off Tucker's permanently. I guess people in New Hampshire like restaurants that serve mountains of starchy, fatty food which would explain why this place is so popular. The Concord NH location is always mobbed; I felt particularly lucky that I had to circle the parking lot only twice to get a spot.
we went here on our last day in Concord before heading back to Boston Airport..hotel had free breakfast but we passed to go here. well worth every penny I had the pop's omelet and left about a 4th but didn't leave a crumb of the wonderful raisin toast! my wife was a little smarter goy the Kevin on a bagel then deconstructed it and ate the eggs and ham with the bagel as toast ..we both shared the home fries which were " like mom use to make! and Thanks to Whitney for keeping my coffee cup always full!
We were in the area and decided to try this place for brunch after Mass. When we went in, we found there was a 55 minute wait. So...we decided to get take out! The friendly girl at the counter suggested the Sedona and WOW! that was amazing! My hubby had the meat lovers and said that was amazing as well. If I lived closer I would have to come and try everything on the menu! Would highly reccomend coming here but call ahead and make a reservation. And even with that, be prepared to wait a bit - but it will definitely be worth it!
We love this place. Great options for breakfast. The coffee is to DIE for - I had the iced salted caramel cold brew, my husband had a mocha. We have been to another location (I believe in Dover) and also had an awesome experience. It is a little pricey but it's worth it.Additionally, we have Doordash-ed from this location and the food is just as solid eat-in as it is take out!
Tuckers has a super reputation and based upon the grades in Trip Advisor, we were really looking forward to finally being able to go. We had seen pictures of lines, but we figured near 10 AM on a Thursday it wouldn't be a problem. It took three trips around the parking lot before someone left and we were able to park. We checked in and the wait was about 15 minutes. Yes the place was full. The staff is wonderful from the person who greeted us and seated us to Pauline our server - they couldn't have been better. The place is clean and really is a perfect breakfast place. Unfortunately the food , although good, isn't near as good as it is purported to be. My wife loves biscuits, but Tucker's biscuit was very dry, and more like a piece of Texas toast than a biscuit. I ordered TJ's Irish Bennie and it too was disappointing. The hollandaise was watery(?) and runny and "TJ's famous homemade corn beef hash" really fell short. It certainly didn't taste "homemade." It was ground down to a very fine mush and even if homemade, tasted pretty much as if it came out of a can. I have to say it is a nice place for breakfast, and if in the area we might go again to try something different. I don't know if I would wait in a long line to get in though. Great service, friendly staff, and OK Breakfast.
Had an amazing breakfast food was super flavorful and filling, everything tasted super fresh as well. Highly recommend there hollandaise sauce.
Food was good but they didn't include the whole order or utensils in the takeout bag. They won't let you complete an online order without choosing to include or not include utensils so I was expecting them and had to eat with a plastic spoon I happened to have around.
Food is always delicious. Banana nut bread French toast is my favorite! Order take out from here all the time. Although the last couple times they have forgotten maple syrup and butter with the order, there isn't really any bad things to say.
