11/10, will cheesecake again. Thank you for making my mom's birthday special!Called and asked for a cheesecake even though I couldn't find it on the menu. The woman on the phone was very respectful and made it very easy to decide to order. Look at the time and effort that was put into the cake! I can't wait for future celebrations so I can go back and order more. Trust, it was as good as it looks. Plus I've previously ordered pies for pi day a few times which were also great... but now I'm feeling like Mr. Ratburn cause I'm fiending for more cake!!It's easy to support local businesses when the local businesses exceed expectations like Crust and Crumb consistently does! Fair prices, decadent desserts and meticulous arrangements! Thank you again.
We ordered a large carrot cake with cream cheese frosting from Crust and Crumb and it was literally the best carrot cake we had all ever eaten. We also requested that it have less frosting than typical as we aren’t huge frosting fans and they listened and put the perfect amount on. The cake came out adorable too! We also picked up a few fresh breads when we picked it up and they were also awesome. Thank you so much Crust and Crumb! We will be back soon!
We chose The Crust and Crumb for our wedding and they did a fabulous job. We were in the area for other wedding related meetings in which we were running late for our meeting with them. They were able to come next door where we were eating lunch to review options for our cake and cupcakes. To this day everyone keeps raving about how good the cupcakes were and my husband and I devoured our cake. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and timely with your responses. We can't wait to use you more in the future!
Oh yum! Always love Crust and Crumb (raspberry bars are the best I've ever tasted) but just enjoyed their Key Lime pie with the oat and almond crust for our Easter celebration, and WOW, was that delicious! Thank you for baking for me...it was a huge hit with the family, and I enjoyed the break from baking on a holiday?Thank you so much!
Absolutely everything we have tried from The Crust and Crumb has been perfectly delicious, which means I am careful about just how much I visit, so please stop in and try a few of their fabulous options. Great gluten-free goodies! Breads! Tarts! Cookies! It's all good!
I was visiting Concord and was taking a walk down Main Street, we stopped into the crust and crumb baking company to get a few items to eat in the bakery and take several more back to the hotel to have because the next day we're expecting a foot of snow. We sat down to eat our items including buying a $3.75 dog treat for the dog. The girl who served us even made a comment of how cute the dog was! When we were about halfway finished eating our food someone came over and told us that a dog could not be in the bakery. I said we've been in here for about 30 minutes and no one said anything...she said she didn't notice us. And was not very nice about telling us we had to leave right now. We had to pack up our half eaten things and exit the store right then. It was a very terrible experience . The sign in their stores says kindness, hope and understanding. I don't think so! We even left at left the tip and paid it forward by purchaseing a quiche and a large coffee for someone in need... will NOT be recommending or returning!UPDATE: Appreciate your response, however, we were in your bakery for 15 minutes selecting the $50 in baked goods that we purchased, per our parking receipt, prior to the 12 minutes that we were seated. Our puppy was eating the treat that we had just purchased in your bakery, and your senior employee did not nicely let us know, as out of town guests, the policy and offer to pack our items to go, she told us we had to leave immediately. I had to ask for a to go bag. I did not berate your employee, I defended my three small children, who were embarrassed for breaking the law, and my 8 pound puppy, who was kept in a canvas carrying bag the entire time.
Love all the home made pastries, cakes etc-support your local small business
In past have been able to order a soy free dessert, last two times my husband went in they were not able to do so, and this past time asked him to come a week later for an order! They said they could not take a soy free order this week- no explanation, and he said last time he was told it was not resource efficient- but we would have paid the 8 inch cake price for a four inch cake if it was broached nicely to us.
I purchased a cake from here for a birthday, I want to start by saying the staff was really friendly and pleasant, I even ordered a latte while I was there picking up my cake and it was delicious. I was pretty disappointed in the cake though, as you can see in the photo it looks beautiful! And the jam and cake was delicious, but the frosting was terrible, my favorite part of any cake is the frosting and this was the first cake that I actually scrapped the frosting off. It was hard like cold butter and didn't taste sweet at all. If your looking to purchase a cake here I would strongly recommend trying a sample first to see if it's something you'll like.
We live 2 hours from Concord. Covid and an incoming snowstorm put an end to any thought I had of celebrating with my sister on her 80th birthday. I wanted to surprise her, but not with flowers. The Crust and Crumb was able to fill a last-minute (afternoon before) order and deliver a wonderful chocolate cake with butter cream frosting. The decorating was also excellent. Thanks for making my sister's special day special. PS We heard that the cake was delicious.
