[Revised review upward based on business response.]For the donuts, I'd give 5 stars.I'm annoyed with the management right now. They and their loyalty club get one star.I've been going in there once a week or so since they opened this location. I'm enrolled in their loyalty club. Usually I pay with the same debit card every day, and it tells me my point total after the purchase. This morning I did nothing, so I asked the staff.First they said "Oh, you needed to log in first. Sorry. I think if you log in now you can still get them." So I hit the login prompt on the sale terminal, and gave it my phone #. Then it freezes showing me their logo. I point this out. They say "It says enrollment not completed. Sorry, it's too late now." No offers to try anything else, like backing out the charge and starting over. Nada. Granted, it's only 6 points, but still really annoying. Then I get to my office, sign into my email, and there's my usual email receipt. So clearly the system DID know who I was. And at the bottom of the receipt is an offer to JOIN their loyalty club to claim my points from the purchase. Now I'm thinking my existing points are gone too. So I enter the phone number again on the join form. It says "Thank you for joining" and has magically found my previous loyalty points. Now, I'm glad I didn't lose those points, but really, if this is a system upgrade, it's a LOUSY one from the customer perspective. If the donuts weren't so good I'd be walking away permanently.
They always have great doughnuts and coffee. Much better than any chain has. I love to stop in to get something here on the weekends.Their customer service is truly unmatched though. I have never had a bad experience here. This morning, I stopped in to grab some doughnuts and a latte. It was a bit busy, and my drink was forgotten. I wasn't upset about it, but when the owner realized what happened, he gave me a free half dozen doughnuts to apologize. That was truly going above and beyond for a small mistake. I'm not sure where else you can get that kind of service, but it really makes this one of the best places to go to in Concord.
Best donuts in NH and MA from someone that has tried a ton of different places as a hobby in the past year. Usually not as into cake donuts but these are incredible. First time I got 3, and loved them so much I went right back in and bought 3 others. The donuts are really creative and rotate a lot and I love that they don't follow this awful trend for gourmet donuts to be huge. I want interesting, well-executed flavors, not size, personally.
Definitely my favorite coffee spot in downtown concord. Super friendly staff and amazing donuts. Look for the photo of me playing the saxophone in the back.
I thought it would a cool place to surprise my little one. The doughnuts weren't badly priced but they weren't great tbh. My son got Mickey Mouse and whatever the frosting they used was so hard he couldn't even bite it easily. He took two bites and wouldn't eat anymore. I don't think we will be returning.
The New Hampshire Doughnut Co. is a true gem and an asset to Concord's Main Street. First of all, the doughnuts are excellent: crispy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside. The array of flavors is creative, and now you can even create your own custom doughnut from a variety of glazes and toppings. I am a big fan of just the old fashioned doughnut and the chocolate frosted doughnut (the frosting is really a smooth dark chocolate ganache rather than a super sweet frosting), but I've never had a bad one. Secondly, their coffee and hot drink selection is incredible- exactly what I've been missing ever since True Brew closed. And finally, they have ice cream! Not frozen yogurt, not soft serve, but honest-to-goodness local ice cream from Blake's. Give them a try, you won't regret it!
Had a great experience here today. Donuts were amazing and service was fantastic! Love supporting small local businesses.. this place will definitely be on our Concord, NH must visit again list.
I am so glad i found this place and I love the style of the place and the coffee is great and donuts yummy and the cashier girl very nice and polite and i wish all places can have employees like her nice and friendly! So I wish I can give more stars ? also there is books for the parents to read!
I apologize to anyone else avoiding gluten who went by the NH Doughnut Co. on December 30, 2021 looking for a gf donut after 9am. In this, my 2nd visit to the shop, I cleaned out all the day's flavors (3) of gf donuts for my sister's family (+ a maple bacon donut for my gluten-eating bacon-loving brother-in-law). I was not disappointed - the first gf donut I'd had there being fabulous, I heard rave comments about the delivered gf donuts, and the bacon one went over well, also!Frozen store-bought gluten-free donuts are one thing. These are another. Totally worth the trip, the lightly paid parking, and finding the store on foot in a plaza set back from the main street.
Gluten free!! This place takes gluten free donuts to a whole new level, it’s been so hard to find someone who makes a gluten free donut that doesn’t taste like….sand. They nailed it!
