Service and atmosphere was excellent but the food taste wasn’t good. Everything was bland. Maybe an off night. I was really looking forward to eating here after a friend recommended. We came in from out of state too. The ghost pineapple margarita was delicious though!

As a table of 4(3 adult and a child). Appetizers and meal order placed at 6:15. Appetizers arrived at 7, meals over an hour later. Tables sat after we did and ordered after we did received full orders prior to us. Environment incredibly noisy. I have never been to restaurant with a more off standish manager. Only plus is once ASKED they did so rush order the child dinner so they wouldn’t be fussy.

Wife and I went for lunch. She had Rubin and I had chicken parm. Food and service was good. Little disappointed as I had want hot and buttered lobster rool but markris wanted $23 for cold sandwhich and $30 for hot and buttered one. Waitress said this $7 upcharge was because of the extra prep work required. Could not pay that much extra out of principle (28% more).

the place was packed, and still had great service with no wait. the food was delicious. and their shirts are F******g awesome!!?

One of our favorite restaurants to go to, when up in this area. Prices, unfortunately, have gone way up. Maybe too much. Especially seafood. Just couldn't justify spending the amounts they were asking for lobster & scallops, when I know there's a place, closer to home either offering better prices or bigger portions for the same price. So I settled for the haddock, which was very good, along with a cup of clam chowder.

Living further away we schedule trips to the area so we may end up eating here, Great menu selections - main;y seafood.

Food exceptional as well as service great job ...busy but knocked it out of the park all around...even found a sticker that made me feel at home

Couldn't decide between raw oysters or fried oysters...so I had both! Delicious! Friendly atmosphere

First time going to Makris's. We got in got seated right away which was great. The server came over and asked what we would like to drink. We got our drinks and ordered our appetizers. When they got there the Buffalo tenders were delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops were also really good. We ordered our main dishes. When they came the server put the food down and went in to the kitchen and was in there for 10 min or more. We waited for him, to ask for some lemon for the haddock and My husband did not get the coleslaw with his fried combo which was shrimp and haddock. It was delicious too. The other dish we got was the steak tips with the garlic green beans. It did not look or taste like steak tips. It looked like it was a sirloin steak cut into small pieces. The flavor of the steak was so bland too. The green beans had no garlic flavor and it was not very good. The server did not ask us if we wanted anything else to drink we got the one drink and that was it. My husband had to ask for another drink and the server never asked me if I needed another drink even after my husband asked him for his second drink. Will not go back again.

Food wasn't all we were hoping for. Our grandson on leave from Japan with his wife inroute to his new base in California. Seafood was big on our choices how ever with entrees with one side which in itself wasn't an issue however the baked potato was cold and dried out , rolls were also cold. And the choices for sides were limited and though we did choose French fries they were cold and over cooked. Portion sizes though we ordered the large size meal that on the salmon and two way fried and baked seafood doubt there was 4 ozs each. Fried seafood was over cooked. My seafood chowder came as clam chowder waited stated that's what was ordered even though I stated seafood chowder twice. And c it came cold and had to go back to the kitchen and they nuked it. It wasn't like they were busy because other than one other table of 2 in the dinning room. When we arrived there was a table of 8 that was just starting a birthday cake they had brought in so they didn't interfere with service, the help was there but service was horrible. I could go on and on but think you get the jest of how the night went. Our bill was over $170 for 6 people. We're no cheap people by no means but the whole experience was not worth it not when the whole experience was so bad. We had tried the place years ago but heard a few years ago that a new owner was there now so we gave it another try. BUT there will NOT be another chance. I usually try to be supportive to local businesses but it was hard to pick anything in the whole experience that was good. Hope this will help save someone from such a horrible experience. When I mentioned to one of the waitresses about our thoughts on how all around bad it was she was sarcastic and said she had other things to do not just wait on us. Again keep in mind one table of 2 was all that was in there other than us. And we arrived at 6 which was supper time !! After speaking to numerous people since they said oh no we don't go for the food and that they to go to the bar and they make good drinks . So if you want a bar atmosphere and maybe apps or sandwiches maybe it would be different one could only hope.
