We ordered Taco salads tonight and for $39 the lettuce was rusty the taste was off and both my husband and I were sick after eating. Hermanos has always been a go to place for us food has always been excellent portions have been perfect but over the past several years we have seen a decline. We decided after several unsatisfactory meals to take a break. Tonight I was craving the taco salad and the way it used to be it was very disappointing and unfortunately we will no longer be a customer. I’ve been a customer for over 30 years and it’s disappointing that this restaurant has changed so much over the years.

went to celebrate my husband bday. took about 15 min to be acknowledged. waitess seemed out it or something. didnt talk much and delivered our stuff without saying anything . was gonna ask for desert for him but she didnt seem interested never checked on us. dropped the check when we were done and done. food was excellent. probably be back but hope not to have her again. did tip well anyway in case she needed it. thank you.

We’re in California but so enjoyed Hermanos on our road trip of the Fall Colors several years ago…I just checked to be sure they were still there. This was the most wonderful dinner place on our entire trip. I was just thinking… wouldn’t it be fun to fly back for the Memorial weekend and eat all our dinners there?California is home to the best Mexican food to be found…but Hermanos is SO unique it can totally compete! The drinks are delightfully strong and the dishes are creative and hold a candle to everything we’ve experienced on the West coast.Great job, Hermanos. If we do an impromptu fly-over you’ll be the first to know. ☺️

It's always nice to find a restaurant that provides vegan options for their standard dishes. Hermanos went all out not only offering seitan as a meat replacement (and beans, of course) but also had vegan cheese, sour cream, and yogurt available for their dishes that called for those. We both had the Pastor De Avocado as a bowl, one with beans and one with seitan. We didn't opt for any replacement dairy, though. The food was excellent. The margaritas were good as well. We would go back again when in this area.

Although the website says they have take out, it depends. Attempted to place an order and after numerous attempts by phone, no one answered, I drove down there to place my order in person only to be told they were too behind and couldn't accommodate. The unfortunate part is I was going to order one of the take and bake options to cook myself. We will be looking for another option when it comes to Mexican. Seems this restaurant has forgotten that during Covid the take out business helped to keep them open.

Definitely not an "authentic Mexican" restaurant. I ordered Sirloin cooked in a red sauce and got giant pile of tasteless shredded beef. Who shreds a steak? Nobody. Nobody is the answer. They only have one flavor of beef and that's shredded. My wife ordered chicken which was shredded. I'm sure there pork is shredded. It's all Gross. Let the vegans have it.

Have been a Hermanos customer for 20+ years and while we love the food, it's seriously time for a refresh. The place desperately needs a paint job, windows cleaned, and maybe even replace the burned out fluorescent bulbs in the bathroom. Disappointing that what used to be a favorite stop has gone downhill.

I called Saturday to place a pick up order and was very rudely told "We aren't doing take out".

Pulled in to the parking lot at 5:20, got right in and seated, drink orders taken and gotten quickly. Sat and waited until 6:20 for salad. No chips/salsa to nip the hunger pains. Entree came about 6:35. I would like to say that the good food made up for the loooonnngg wait, but no such story. It was ok. Bland for Mexican. I’ve had better. I understand everyone is short handed right now, but I can think of a few ways they could have improved my experience even so. If you’re looking for quick, cheap Mexican meal, this is not your place.

The food was excellent, with a great selection of options, and the cornbread is the best I've ever had!We enjoyed live music in the lounge upstairs and had quality service from the wait staff - definitely coming back! Our friends also brought their baby, who was welcomed by the staff and given a few little treats while we waited for food.
