Get someone who is better at customer service and maybe, just maybe, don't call your customers liars when an option to order side bacon has existed for years. This is a joke.
Ordered thin crust , well done, 4 cheese with pepperoni/extra pepperoni. What I got was a floppy pizza with enough sauce to float a battleship. I did NOT order extra sauce. What I DID order was EXTRA pepperoni and. I had to search to find it. This has happened more often than not and I had taken a vow not to oder from them again, but, must have hit my head. Almost $27 for the 14”pizza. Ridiculously overpriced. You can get a comparable LARGE pizza at Papa Johns (Just as good if not better) for almost 5 dollars less. No more orders for CheckMate.
Ordered there several times, food was good, customer service VERY rude. I was advised they wouldn’t deliver to my home anymore and asked for a reason, they couldn’t give one. The older lady told me on phone that we were “Black listed”. My friend and I (who is black) had previously placed an order and he accepted delivery and then we got that reply. I have the phone recording to prove the comment. Disgusting, racist
I've ordered twice fom them. Both times the pizza was burnt and slight of cheese. The delivery guy was well past rude. This place is a MUST TO AVOID!!!
Good pizza, 6, 12, 18 and 24 inch grinders! Parking is rough, standing room only, take out only, if your a social distancing practitioner, call ahead for a rapid in and out pick up or have it deliveredTasty
Ordered 2 medium subs and a small mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were cold and hard, and if the tomatoes were sliced any thinner, they would be paper! The roast beef was so he lowest grade you could get. My cat wouldn’t even eat it! Either the owner has no taste buds, or he doesn’t eat at his own place! Do NOT order from them!
I really like the pizza here but holy moly the lady in the front is rude and miserable. I called to order and said what I didn’t want on my sub because of food allergies. She really said “I don’t care what you don’t want on it just tell me what you want on it”And another day a sweet old man was in there telling her how happy he was to find a new pizza place, she said, “ok… are you going to order because I’m busy”Literally super rude! I think she needs to retire…

I ordered delivery last week, we live further out but they are kind enough to come out and deliver. On 9/24/21 from checkmate in Concord we had Lukas as our delivery person. He was so polite! I had to hold my cat so he didn't run outside and Lukas was so friendly to him and even held him and spoke about his own cats! It was a quick conversation because obviously he was working, but the way he made the delivery personable was great. He got a great tip just for being so kind. Keep this employee! Give him a raise or some sort of recognition because he is doing such a good job.
Decent and reliable. Pizza is a bit on the greasy side if you're into that.
