We enjoyed this cafe for a quick lunch at the Nugget Hotel. Parking was easy. Our lunch was at 11AM so we were seated immediately. This was after the breakfast crowd and before busier lunch hours. Had a clam chowder, Rueben sandwich and Denver skillet all very tasty. Reasonable prices. Attentive service by waitress and bus person. Will dine again when in Sparks.
Be safe with a reservation - Christine had a friendly greeting; Carmen provided great service. I had the Turkey Dinner - it was really good! My Wife had the Clam Chowder and really enjoyed it.
Best Rubin sandwich. The fries were freshly made too. I sat at the counter solo and the woman serving me was great.
We enjoyed the food we had to wait for almost 10 minutes to get something to drink once we got there. Once we got our drinks everything was fine food was very good.
Allow at least an hour even with a reservation. The line to pay was 12 people long. They only had one cashier. They need to have a backup cashier when the line is long.

I suggest a reservation - staffing is still an issue. Stephanie had a friendly greeting. Tracy was the Server - My order of the Tuesday Special - Liver & Onions was great. My Wife's Clam Chowder was Wonderful.
Out waitress Linda was wonderful! My T-bone was cooked perfect and the mushroom gravy was yummy. Best experience there to date.
