I suggest a reservation - Pierre had a friendly greeting and Bertha provided great service - My Wife had the Boston Clam Chowder - I had the Corn & Crab Bisque and a Wedge Salad. We shared a Calamari appetizer - It was very fresh and prepared perfectly - so good!
You can tell they were short staffed. Hostess was stressed out. She was cleaning tables and seating customers. She would clean a table but bring customers to another table and say âthey didnât clean it!â She would leave you standing in the middle of the walk way while cleaning the table. Not sure why she didnât place customers at the table she already cleaned. It took forever for the waitress to take our order. The young guy serving bread and drinks, was nice but you can tell he just got hired. He slid our bread to us by placing his whole hand on our bread. I watched him dig his finger in his ear while serving another table too. I told the waitress what happened to our bread. She apologized and brought us a fresh one. Food looked lost in the bread. Fish was smaller than the bun. The whole sandwich tasted like bread. I ended up just eating one slice of bread. Fish lacked seasoning. The lobster pasta was nothing special. Tasted like the pasta I buy from Costco. Waitress never checked on us. Took forever to receive our check. We still tipped her 18% since it wasnât her fault they were short staffed. I guess she was trying her best. She did focus more on the large table. Probably hoping they give her a huge tip. Little do you know, sometimes smaller tables give you even bigger tips! We usually tip 50% or more, but you have to be on top of everything and have at least a short conversation with us. I feel they shouldnât open so many tables if they are short staffed and canât handle it. Itâs sad when you hear the staff cuss under their breath because they are overwhelmed. We wonât be coming back for a while since this experience wasnât too great. Itâs actually one of our favorite restaurants and Iâm so disappointed our experience was unpleasant this time.
The Oyster Bar is ready for a Remodel Well worn. The Food was Good But the waitress was overwelled and wasn't getting any help The Buss Service was lack ,water glasses weren't refilled The Cocktail Order was very slow good place to eat but they need to take it up a notch and get more help or better training

The wait person was awful. The restaurant was slow on a Sunday and the food came out slow. We had to get are own extra napkins. The food is really good. I would come for the food but not dir the service.
Our reservation at 5.45 was good as it had not started to get crowded. We were sat promptly. Clam chowder was amazing as always. Ordered Calamari and a PoBoy. The presentation of our calamari in a plastic basket draws away from the ambiance of the evening. First time ordering a PoBoy here. It was good.. but Average. Next time I might try the pasta.
My husband and I had a delicious and plentiful meal at the Nugget Oyster Bar. We arrived just after 5 pm on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately as the restaurant wasn't very full yet. Service was quick and efficient, we both truly enjoyed our food, and both of us took home half of our dinners because the servings were so generous. It's a fairly long trek from the Self-Parking Garage to the far west side of the casino where the restaurant is located, but it was worth the effort!
We always make a reservation - Our Family was visiting. Marilou had a table all set up for us - Elsa was our Server and is Great. Food included Shrimp Cocktails, Wedge Salads, Lobster Raviolis, Fried Shrimp, Crab & Corn Bisque, and fresh bread. Everything was Great!
The Oyster Bar in the Nugget is our go-to seafood place. Always good. Love the service. Michael is our favorite server.
The service and food was good. However, the prices have increased about 33% in the last couple of months. I don't believe the cost of the food has increased that much. I only eat there because I get discounts from the casino.
