One of the best sushi experiences I have had, went with family and enjoyed my first visit. Rolls came with good fish to rice ratio. Appetizers and quail egg shots were both very good. Very much enjoyed the food and will definitely go again when I am back in Reno
Great sushi place at Reno, loved all the orders. We went with all you can order sushi. The fruit rolls were awesome and my first try. Loved the on the beach, jackpot, paradise, cherry roll, , tornado. Great customer service!
Really nice staff and fantastic food. We ordered the 4 roll special and enjoyed every bite.
Sold pic for very good ayce sushi. Good quality, fast service, and good selection of nigiri, rolls and others.
Ohana used to be the best place i town for AYCE sushi, and still is pretty good, but the fish quality may be dropping. The fish was more gristly today, but that may just be the individual fish itself. I thought the nigiris were made smaller today, so I guess I just have to order more of them! They do need to keep watch on the rice, it was a little grainy today and not sticky enough. Still a 4 start experience, just not a 5 anymore.
Sushi has gone up in price and down in quality around town, but not at Ohana. Their rolls are always fresh and delicious, and their fish is great quality. We highly recommend the Battle Born, Godfather, and Red Orchid rolls!
We've tried a lot of sushi places in town and you know what? Ohana is the best out of all of them, so this is the only place we'll go now. The orders come up fast and special requests are handled all on the order sheet, just write what you want and they'll do it. The trick for fast service is come when it's not busy. We came around 2pm on a weekday, you still get the lunch price of $21.95. The fish quality id really good, no dried out fish like some places.
My favorite sushi in town a client of mine brought be here for lunch one time and it was a rap from the quail eggs to the salmon skin then the aloha I’m done must see must taste . The staff super friendly this is my spot take it from a local you will not be disappointed. Don’t forget on the beach must try.
A little over priced for the all you can eat sushi... but the food is very good quality and very tasty. They have so many different types of sushi, and sushi rolls. And then the first time I went there they tried to charge me extra for whatever I didn’t eat which they didn’t tell me upon ordering. I’ve been there 2 times now.As far as quality of food I would give them five out of five stars. But the pricing and not being upfront about charging you extra at the end of the meal what you don’t eat after the all you can eat buffet order for an adult I gave the three stars ?♀️
When it first opened it was a good place. As time as gone, each experience has not been good as the previous. The quality of preparation and service has declined, and I can no longer recommend them anymore. If your a casual sushi eater that enjoys a wide variety of rolls packed with crystal shrimp, tempura, and cream cheese, this is your kind of place. If you care about the quality of the cuts of nigiri, the portion size/biteability, and a higher level sushi chef, look elsewhere.
