2 stars because the lady at the front was nice. However, it took over and hour to get the food. Which also turned out to be incorrect, making half of what I ordered go to waste. I understand it was busy, but over an hour wait for take out is absurd. They eventually realized how backed up it was and started turning people away. Unfortunately this was after I ordered and I received no warning.
The food is great but the cooks in the back make me very uncomfortable whenever I go in there they point and stare which makes me uncomfortable I wanna walk into a place where I feel comfortable they should either be fired or have common sense. Either have a talk or let them go.
Just ok, Mac and rice were overly soft and unappetizing. Wont visit unless partner needs their decent Katsu. Workers are pleasant to me.
Unbelievably delicious, wonderful atmosphere, and reggae and Hawaiian music makes like island like feel and has that positive vibe ?☺?
I don't know why anyone would give the Sparks location a bad review. It was my first time there and I very impressed with the cleanliness and I didn't smell old grease coming from the back. The portions were very fair with the price. It was all delicious. I would definitely go back again and again.
We had to stop because our tires popped on our way back home. We had been driving all day. Tired and hungry I decided to call in. My dog just had orthopedic surgery and I couldn’t leave her alone in the car. I asked the person who answered the phone if they could bring the food out to me. I didn’t want to be that lady that brought her dog in. The gentleman was so nice and said absolutely without hesitation. The food was ready fast. I wish I would have gotten his name. I just want to say thank you to who brought the food out to me today March 1,2022 around 5:20 PM while it might have been a simple small act it was very much appreciated! The food was delicious too! I’ve been to many L&L’s as we are from Northern California and the quality is one of the best I’ve had! Thanks again!
Ordered poke and kalbi plate lunch for take out. Poke was still semi frozen and was so salty inedible. The kalbi meat in the plate lunch seem like it was precooked as it was so tender and was barely heated through / no char hint of being cook on a grill or flattop. Never going back again as this was such a great place in the beginning. Went there January 3, 2022.
It was very good to me! I got the bbq chicken and it was so good and tender! The portions are also generous so don't worry about the food not being worth your money because it definitely is!!
I love L&L. It’s one of my favorite places to eat. But the Sparks branch didn’t impress me at all. The person whom I assume was the shift manager was rude, her employees seemed miserable, and she just stood in the corner while the cook and the other employee busted their a$$es. Bad leadership makes for poor employee performance. The bbq chicken was dry, the katsu curry was a little off, and so was the mac salad. But again I don’t blame the employees.
Friendly customer service. Excellent food. Definitely returning!
