Wife and I stopped in on a whim passing by on I-80. Not a lot of Fuddruckers around anymore.Restaurant was short staffed, with only one gal doing register, prepping orders, and bussing tables. SHE WAS THE HARDEST WORKING PERSON I've seen at a restaurant in ages. The orders went out to the tables pretty timely (a little wait, but it's post Covid and we all need a little patience). Hamburger, fries, and onion rings were outstanding.Did I say the gal doing the floor was outstanding? Well, then I'll say it! Outstanding!In a time when EVERYPLACE is short staffed, this particular Fuddruckers has hired and retained some outstanding staff. Kudos!
Very unfortunate I tried telling the cashier lady to tell the cook how great our food was, she just ignore me; basically didn’t care to hear what I had to say! She was working hard so go girl!To the cook- food was great, fresh chicken sandwich, burgers, fries! We loved it, had to stop by this location on our way to Lake Tahoe because we miss fuddruckers so much!
The cashier shared with me, my friend, and her dog Finny. Until they get another employee she would have to add our toppings for us. No dining area available to sit down. To go orders only. We ate in car. As their Easter decorations were displayed. Finny was trying to eat the food before me. My friend took me for my first time. Fulfilling from just the burger. I did not add bacon or upgrade in anyway or get a specialty burger I enjoyed the burger!
Man, I haven’t had Fuddruckers in over 20 yrs. Was surprised to see one in Reno cause their usually in SoCal. To say the least. I wasn’t disappointed. Huge double patty filled my hunger beyond belief. Had to drop a deuce a short time later. Fuddruckers is still one of the best burger spots.
Very disappointed that they can't find help to fully open the restaurant. That's one of the best about this place is building your own burger. Can't sit down inside and enjoy your meal and I don't understand why. Food is still good but I won't go back any time soon.
Employees need to show up to work or be fired. Service is suffering. Also restaurants need to open their dining rooms. Fuddruckers is not a takeout kind of place. You're supposed to be able to order a burger, add the toppings of your choice and sit down to enjoy it. We ordered our burgers, all of the fixings for thrown into a to-go container and we had to drive back to the hotel to finally put the burgers together and eat. Just open the dining rooms!
Food is always good and reasonably priced for what you get.I am a regular. I appreciate that this one server is always friendly and remembers how I order.Shout out to Jay your awesome.No dine in is the only reason not 5 stars.
Overall this was just ok. NO DINE IN :(I wouldn’t say my mushroom swiss burger was all that great but just adequate. If you’re looking for a fast burger at a truck stop we’ll, this is it.
We ordered the biggest burger medium rare and got 2 overcooked patties,obviously only the medium sized one. Burger King was much,much better for a lot less,.I regret tipping them.burger.
I know they are short staffed but I’d at least expect that when they charge $5 for a milkshake they would make and blend it fresh and not give me a pre blended and re frozen shake with all the freezer burn texture and crunch you would expect from that great value ice cream tub you forgot in your freezer. The whipped cream was added fresh to cover up the frozen crusty mess
