I used to love their food. I had not been their in over a year and the quality of the food has greatly declined. While waiting on my check I saw a male employee digging in his nose and he did not wash his hands afterwards and continued to serve customers food. He was behind the bar toward the back kitchen area and probably thought no one could see him m, but my friend could and so could I. I started feeling nauseous just prior to leaving and still do several hours later. I will not go back. Truely disappointed.
Not impressed with the taste of the food. Everything was bland. Wife's tacos with hard shells crumbled apart. My order of caldo de res was very similar to boiled beef water. Had to add the onions, celantro and peppers to get any flavor.Maybe an off night. Interior was sort of clean. Service was adequate.
Absolutely my favorite real Mexican restaurant.Amazing margaritas weekly specials try the seafood molcajete .
Great food. My tied favorite Mexican restaurant everything about this place is awesome and some of the most outrageous cocktails I've ever seen.
I've been coming here for as long as I can remember and unfortunately they have lost their touch. I am a person that goes by the rule of three and tonight I was hoping they would redeme themselves but unfortunately they just kept screwing up at every turn tonight so I think its due time i leave a review. This is the third time im a row that the service here falls flat on its face, not that loosing a long time customer will hurt them but at least if there is anyone here that cares then they can know why I will never be back. Tonight we were welcomed to sit at a table caked in grime and when i pointed this out to the waitress she simply brought me napkins to clean it myself. Although this was frustrating I tried my best to clean the table so i could have dinner on a clean table. The grime was so old that it tore the napkin up so i asked another waitress if we could get a wet rag to clean it up and then she begrudgingly came back and asked where it was dirty and proceeded to only clean one corner, I'm sorry if my asking for a clean table was too much for your servers to handle but i wouldve been much happier if you wouldve just made me wait an extra minute or two to clean before seating me. Second issue tonight was that after ordering it took 40 minutes for anyone to update us and then just to advise that they wouldnt be able to give us our whole order due to running out of one of the ingredients (this is not an issue but it shouldnt have taken 40 minutes to let us know) they asked us if they could substitute for something else which we ended up agreeing to but after already 40 minites we knew we would now have to wait at least another 15 minutes for anything to come out (spoiler alert, we waited longer). Third issue was while we are waiting for our food we are asked if we are done by another waitress so she could bring us the check...credit to her she noticed our dumb founded looks and said "are you still waiting" and quickly ran to the back to see what was going on, 10 minutes after this incounter our food finally came out. In total we waiting about an hour or more to be served we are brought to our fourth issue. The food was not fresh, my queso fundido tasted microwaved and although the molcajete tasted okay the impression you left me with just broke the camels back. I chose not to bring anything up this time around because I dont intend in ever returning and from my past experiences its obvious this restaurant no longer cares.
Even though they made us Don on a mask from the door to the table, they had great drinks and great food.
Found this restaurant and was glad I did. A really nice authentic Mexican restaurant. Had the fish tacos and the person I was with had the chili relleno. Both were excellent. Nice quantities and very good quality. Then they don't beat you up on the prices. Great service as well.
Food was not great. Service started slow even though I had 2 young children. But picked up once I was seated. However, when I was ready for the check I was acknowledged then forgotten for over 15 min. I had a 2 year old that was beyond patience. So I was not happy about that at all. The waiter never even came back to the table. He spent 5 min smooshing a table right next to me after I asked for my check as my child was crawling out of his seat. Not worth it at all. I won't be going back.
Not sure why we even called to make reservations. We went on a Sunday so expected it to be busy which is why I called and made reservations. Let me start by adding this used to be my step mothers favorite restaurant but we will never return. This location recently expanded and they have tables to accommodate for large parties. However we were scrunched as nine into a booth with a small table added at the end. When my father arrived and asked if we could use a lone table that had no occupants and only one chair he was rudely denied. While the party they gave our reserved table too happily sat with proper accommodations. Once the last of our party was seated and brought out a margarita we sat for over 20 minutes with not even a top off of water while my brother choked on their tasteless extra spicy green salsa. The last straw was when I looked up and saw our server sneaking food from near the restrooms to the large party they sat after us and also gave our reserved table. There is a 50/50 chance you will be treated properly here. Don't risk it go somewhere else.
I am hooked on their street tacos. The combination of the meat, lime, cilantro, and that surprisingly spicy red salsa is the best taco Ive found around. Their fajitas are good as well
