Very small, counter only dining. Food was good. Little pricey, but enjoyed carnitas quesedilla with rice and beans.
First time here. I woke up craving a good breakfast and decided to look for a place that served chilaquiles this place popped up. I decided to go try it out with my ?.Our first thought when we got there was what is this? My girlfriend questioned if we were at the right place?Let me tell you we were definitely at the right place this place is where its at!!!! ? food was Super tasty i have now decided this is where my cheat meals will take place. Every Saturday this is my new spot? come right in dont be fooled this is what they mean when they say dont judge a book by its cover!
This place is not just the best Mexican in reno, it’s in the top 3 restaurants in northern nevada/california. Spectacular every time. Portions are amaze balls too. Great job.
Super good! I happened to be parked next door and just went to the nearest place for breakfast. Wow what a surprise! The place doesn’t look like much from the outside. Doesn’t look like anything special on the inside either but the food is good and that’s what counts. (I got a steak breakfast burrito)
I have only eaten here once. I had the "Meat lovers" breakfast plate and I must say, aside being very tasty the portion was huge. I think I ate for 20 minutes and the portion never got any smaller! Lol. I would definitely eat here again. I also need to add that the staff is friendly and the prices are great.Edit. Ate breakfast here again on Saturday. Again I had the meat lovers plate, To go this time. Like before It didn't disappoint! For $15 I had a breakfast plate that I was able to make 4 full sized burritos out of with a little bit left to snack on later.
I have been wanting to try Carlillos Cocina for awhile. Today I finally found it. The landmark to look for is the sign that reads "Landrum Cafe", picture attached.Entered the building and found neat, clean counter seating. Most of the seats face the prep area. Fascinating to watch the cooks prepare each dish. The cooks were friendly enough to explain what they were preparing. Server was pleasant and attentive.The food was darn good. I ordered a breakfast burrito and the wife had cheese enchiladas. The surprise here was that we could have potatoes in lieu of the standard rice and beans. My burrito was flavorful but not very spicy, which I like. I can spice it up with hot sauce or the jalapenos provided. The wife's was the same, however she chooses not to use anything spicy. Again the surprise was that the potatoes were well made and tasty as they put some enchilada sauce and cheese on top.Overall a very pleasant experience. I will be returning and bringing friends.
A staple every time I'm in town! The food is fantastic, and though it may take sometime to get your food.. it's totally worth the wait! Everything is fresh! If you speak Spanish it's a plus since you can crack jokes with them while they cook.
Just 3-4 guys making the food right in front of you. They were very diligent about taking now of who came in and getting them situated when seating ready. Food was good I would recommend.
Ausome breakfast one the best places to eat in Reno / Sparks if not the number one spot. Great food great price and great service!
Excellent Mexican food. The food was well prepared. A small restaurant where you sit at the counter and you get to see your food being prepared. The cooks are professionals with a great attitude and prepare the food with care. An incredibly good restaurant to visit and enjoy. This place has many regulars and will be even more popular as more people find out about it. A great find.
