We stayed one night here before a morning flight put of Reno. It was our first time to stay at a casino. The property is large and crowded at times. Our room in Peppermill Tower was comfy and decorated as one would expect for a casino. There are multiple restaurants and bars. We had dinner at Biscotti and enjoyed it. The casino itself is large. We played slots and won a little. The thing that impressed me about this hotel was their staff. Every person we encountered... from the front desk to housekeeping to casino and restaurant staff... were exceedingly pleasant and professional. The level of service really stood out. The hotel is only ten minutes from the airport and has a free shuttle. There is also a free parking garage for guests.

What a wonderful relax and rewind hotel. Great pool area with poolside service. Restaurants are e excellent as is the service . Great jacuzzi tubs in Tuscany Towers rooms. Bathrooms come equipped with tvs. Front desk staff were accommodating and friendly.

Huge hotel/casino with shops, and restaurants inside. My room was in North Wing. The room and bathroom were of good size, and very clean. The bed very comfortable. There is a large screen TV, and micro-fridge in addition to coffee machine. Wifi is free and fast. I measured 50 mbs. Staff is very friendly and professional. They have free shuttle to/from airport every half an hour. The parking lot is huge.

Have not been at this hotel in the last 10 years so many new upgrades all for the better.. the room was very clean with the ventilation system on when entering.. nice big flat screen TV.. but no free cable channels.. beds were very comfortable.. the pool area was very clean and the water was actually warm to my liking.. I normally find hotel pools to be too cold.. we did not come during a busy time of the week but the check in did take about a half hour..

This was the best experience! Everyone we talked to was friendly and very helpful! Tony from Bell services was amazing! He helped us so much with getting a scooter for my husband. I would and will recommend this to everyone. We will be back!

We stayed a night on our way home. My husband had remembered them from a previous trip as being a place to stay without being in the thick of Reno and liked the hotel. Check in was really difficult because the card had to match the ID.it was a literal nightmare and with a baby who just needed to go to bed the last thing we needed was difficult check in. It took us like 4 times of waiting in a slow moving line to finally get everything settled. Everything about this hotels cleanliness is up to covid standards. They even had signs of how to eat and drink with a mask on However right on the heels of that is something every single hotel needs to get in touch with is there are now mother’s who spent much of their pregnancy and post partum on lockdown, sheltering in place, had q tips shoved up their nose. Didn’t have baby showers or gender reveals or sweet hospital stays. some of these mother’s are now venturing out and doing a massive home run with experiences. For myself I spent much of my vacation getting in as much “firsts” with my little before either covid cards are mandatory or there’s another pandemic. I had taken her down to the pool to get in that pool experience I probably was in maybe a little too long in this heated pool but she was with me, she had a swim diaper on and she was happy and then some hotel staff guy comes up to me and tells me she’s not allowed in the pool. I was po’d NO where in the rules does it say kids as young as mine were not allowed in the pool. I looked at the pool rules several times and all it said was minors Needed to be accompanied by an adult. All I wanted was my little girl to experience the pool and get pictures of this big first. My iPad had died I didn’t even get pictures of that. That interaction also led me to believe that this hotel isn’t kid friendly. We did want to mention that biscottis was spot on. In my complete tiredness I had seen there menu the night before and was blown away by its upscale ness and wanted to check it out we had the prime rib hash and the waiter even asked if she could get the baby anything and happily bought back a requested banana. The hotels is also right inline with vegas and Reno’s over the top decor...huge ceiling frescos, massive chandeliers, Roman columns, marble looking floors, ornate Italian bedroom decor. We aren’t gamblers but we stopped to drop a dollar in the slot machines on our way out and we weren’t quite sure about kids on the floor... so as each of us took a turn the other held baby until someone said something. ...now we know. The slot machines are difficult to understand and probably tight.

We usually love to stay at Peppermill. This trip was during the Covid Pandemic. Machines and tables were very tight! Lost too much money! Didn't like all the plastic partitions on the Roulette table. It was not a pleasant, social experience. We played Roulette at Atlantis and they didn't have these silly plastic partitions on the Roulette table. They were still safe, only allowed 4 at a table and sanitized after each player left. Upon checking in to our Tuscan Tower suite at The Peppermill, we were only given one bar of soap for 2 sinks and the shower. Also, only 2 towels, when there was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Very stingy with amenities, even though we paid an exorbitant $30/night resort fee! When I called housekeeping for additional soap and towels, the person that answered was very RUDE! Needless to say, we probably won't be back for a very long time!

They are obviously resting on their laurels. We have been to most hotel casinos in Vegas and Reno in our 70+ years. Have been here before as well. Something has happened (not good). Prices were Really high for food. Lost more $$$$ faster than ever anywhere! Just got back from video poker at one of their bar lounges, and while losing a substantial amount of money, was NEVER waited on by a waiter. He pasted by several times, but never stopped and asked if I wanted anything. I tried to flag him down, but .... Hope he is not representative of other employees. This is our second night, and will be the LAST TIME for this overrated ripoff place. Very surprised, as we returned here based on all the good reviews. Well, things have changed. Good Luck! Whoops, just ordered room service, and they delivered the wrong order! Oh, and the shower didn't work. Had to call maintenance. Good Luck!

Once again we returned to the Peppermill for a quick getaway. We rented in the Tuscany tower... one double king and one king room. Both rooms were in spotless condition. One of the best things about the Peppermill is the incredibly soft and comfortable beds and bedding. Besides the bathroom that is the size of a normal hotel room almost. The giant Jacuzzi tub is always a joy at the end of a long day. We ordered room service which came super fast was super polite servers. We ate several times directly downstairs from the Tuscany tower elevators at the sweet shop. We had cakes and pastries and coffee and they were all delicious. It was too cold use the pool but we have used in the past and it is always super warm and clean. This hotel is always my first choice when we come to Reno. And it should be yours too.
