Where else in Reno can you try whiskey from almost every region in the world? I'll wait. Coming up with nothing? Here's my recommendation! Whiskey Lounge Reno is hands down then best, no questions. Russ is the most knowledgeable bartender I have ever met and the most educated on whiskeys! Do yourself a favor and just go!

Walked in with my wife while we were going from bar to bar getting a drink or two. We stopped in and as soon as we got in the bartender asked if we had IDs. I chuckled a bit as I pulled out my ID, as I am 29 and barely get carded anymore. The guy did not like that I found his question humorous, because he immediately started yelling at me, telling me that I could write my congress people or senators if I did not like it. I think maybe that is why only 3 people were there, while all other places within walking distance were packed full.
If whiskey is your drink of choice you'll love this place. Of course if you prefer a different liquor they can oblige.
If you want to be served by a drunk and coked out bartender this is your spot! For a “whiskey bar” they definitely don’t know a lot about whiskey and will shame you for asking about anything that might possibly not be on the menu.We ordered two shots and asked for an itemized receipt since we were out with co-workers and wanted to expense our check, and we’re told “we don’t itemize receipts and can drink elsewhere if we have a problem.”We will never be back and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Do not be fooled by this place, Chapel, RSL, and Emerson are all within walking distance and are far superior bars to this place.
Stumbled upon this place while in Reno and it did not disappoint! The owner Russ and the other bartender working that night (didn’t catch his name) we’re very informative and selected great whiskeys for my boyfriend and I to try. If you’re in Reno and enjoy whiskey, support this small business!
