Apart from the incredible atmosphere and very well thought out snacks, Connor was honestly the highlight of the evening. He made our drinks with excellent craftsmanship and had wonderful charisma. He made us want to come back, and hearing how highly he spoke of and respected his boss Scott, we could easily tell that he took pride in his job and it truly shows. He was a wonderful conversationalist and we will most definitely be back to enjoy his company! I don't know how much he makes but he needs a raise
A hidden genuine gem of a cocktail bar in Reno. The mixologist, Scott crafts amazing original cocktails. The bar is open for hotel guests. Others who are interested have to use a password to enter found on their FB page (changes regularly): Thirstyslounge
My absolute favorite bar in town, because Scott is an absolutely amazing bartender! In the truest sense -- hospitality, humor, unique drinks, ability to make great recommendations -- one of only two I know at this tier in the whole town. The bar is a smaller place that can be hard to find, so don't expect it to be hopping with with activity. Conversely it is an amazing, quieter spot to spend with friends, great drinks, surprise rotation of snacks, and -- again -- absolutely amazing service!!
The cocktail menu is extensive. It took me a good 7 minutes to select my beverage and it was The Aviator FTW! I chose wisely. Aviator gin and some lavender syrup with cherry and lemon and probably some other things too. It was DIVINE. Refreshing and classy and everything I hoped it would be.

I had looked forward to trying this place out until I arrived. The bartender was rude snd pompous and when my friend tried to order a gin and tonic, the bartender promptly replied that would be a “waste of his talent”. Not sure what talent he was referring to as 4 out of our group of 5 could not choke down our drinks. The bartender also said they no longer use egg whites in their drinks because two patrons got salmonella from drinks with egg white from Thirsty’s. This place could really benefit from being on “Bar Rescue”. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
Great place to get a high end cocktail. The owner/bartender is a super cool dude as well. Discussed music for hours. Would recommend.
