This is one of my son's favorite restaurants. He is at school at UNR and we ate their on a recent visit. I like meatload and was pleased to see it on their menu. The meatloaf was very good and the portion was outsize. I couldn't finish it.

Fantastic location, welcoming space, attentive staff, creative menu, but lousy execution. Everyone at the table commented on the lack of seasoning. The ingredients were fresh and plated well but what a let down. Send the chef home.
Always a busy location but well worth the wait. Many delicious and unique items are the menu for breakfast and lunch. Full bar with fun drink menu. Host/hostess are not the most friendly but wait staff is welcoming and services is good. Great place for brunch. Upfront staff could do better representation of the business.
An overwhelmingly delightful experience. Comfortable seating inside and out, with a warm, mellow ambiance. My server(and bartender) was exceptionally friendly, thoughtful, and efficient. My cappuccino was frothy, flavorful, and the perfect temperature.My banana rum French toast was plentiful, with large pecans and gorgeous ripe bananas.If you like bananas foster, the gentle whisper of rum brings a snappy bite into the sauce, there was plenty on the side to be decadent with. Additionally, a personal pitcher of syrup was provided for those with a sweeter tooth than mine. Overall, highly recommend, I will be back!
It's a historic home converted into a great little breakfast spot. It was busy the Sat morning we went there and even with a reservation we had to wait to find the host and wouldve had to hang about another 15-20 min so we opted to sit at the bar area instead. Bartender was very attentive and the food was good. Had the pulled pork egg benedict and wife had the mediterrabean omelette both paired with hash browns. Hearty portions and both dishes were very good.Wish the weather was better to enjoy the outdoor seating, so if we come back I'd like to try that. Seems like a popular spot so you can't go wrong with it.
We live in Tahoe, an hour away from Reno and go there occasionally to shop, Costco, Clothing, Gas, etc... We found Stone House a couple of years ago and have been back 3 times. The food is delicious. Great options. I've had the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs as well as a pulled pork eggs Benedict that were both great. Good salads, Many vegetarian option. It gets quite busy, I guess because they are so good. Be patient and enjoy a delicious meal!
They have a very nice broad menu or traditional favorites and unique dishes. The service was good and the food was delicious. Full bar and some unique cocktails. The restaurant itself is in a restored house and they have indoor, outdoor and patio seating. They clearly use quality ingredients. Highly recommend.
The Stone House Café has excellent service, vibe & food. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food and cocktails.
1st time eating here and it was Excellent.Had a Bloody Mary with Chilaquiles (Pulled Pork Verde style) and the wife had their Seafood Scramble.All was Very Tasty.Our Server Gabe took Great care of us and made our Breakfast very Enjoyable.Would definitely go back and request Gabe as our server again!
Tasty place with multiple and multiple options for breakfast and lunch. They have even two separate menus for it. A patio is extra plus. Blood and Sand cocktail on whiskey and Ruben Turkey Sandwich are very good.
