This is a fantastic breakfast restaurant with good service, excellent food and prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, the drinks are a bit expensive. The interior is designed with love and you feel very comfortable in this restaurant. Strange is that on the bill there are two grand totals cash and card price.
Decent diner food. Both breakfast and lunch are solid. I would go here before many other breakfast places.
Three years ago, I gave The Cup Cafe 5 stars. We were impressed with the menu, the food, the price, and the service. This year we were in the Reno area and decided to eat there. The menu was still great and the food was still very good but breakfast for the two of us was over $30. The waitress tried to keep up but they, like so many businesses these days, were short of help. There wasn't a cashier to pay so we were instructed to pay at the table. Between the expensive breakfast (a sign of the times) and the slow service, I had to reduce the number of stars I gave it to 3, which is average.
This is our Favorite Breakfast place. Fast thoughtful service, excellent food, mind blowing consistency! Everything on the table is of the highest quality, from the pepper grinder to the smuckers jelly. The coffee is excellent and always hot. The biscuits and gravy are incredible and can be subbed for toast. The eggs Benedict is a game changer and the omelets are perfect every time. We are crazy picky and nearly anyways leave bad reviews. This place never disappoints.
Stopped for early morning breakfast passing thru, obviously a busy place that locals frequent often. Great selection of Egg Benedict options - we had the Bacon Avocado Benedict and the Garden Benedict, and they were super yummy! Service was really good for being so busy. Sign on the door said “use other door”, but then people inside were knocking on the window telling us to ignore the sign - that’s a little strange. Otherwise a cute place.
Food was great, place was clean, staff was very friendly, and their chicken fried steak was delicious. We had a 15 min wait before seated but that's cause it was very packed when we arrived. Nice spot
We stayed overnight at Courtyard Marriott across the street. When searching for breakfast spots, this place was within walking distance, had great reviews, extensive menu. We were not disappointed. I had the garden eggs Benedict. The best I've had. Husband had chicken fried steak. All good. Fresh ingredients, freshly made, large portions. If you're visiting Reno, you should go for breakfast or lunch. Also, very friendly staff.
Very tasty great service!
Nice family run operation. Country inn style interior with a good mixture of tables and booths.Service was good and most everyone had a smile with a good morning. The food was well prepared and fair sized proportions. The only complaint we had was the use of salt in the food. We are salt conscious and it seemed to be a little over the top. This is just our opinion and be aware that we are salt sensitive.
great food and the service is outstanding
