The veggie tacos were exquisite and a unique recipe I’ve never tried anywhere else. The fish tacos were also top notch, fresh and simplistic blend of fried fish, avocado, reed cabbage and proprietary home made sauce. Outdoor seating only. Made to order.
Of the places I've tried in Reno, the TACO SHOP has the best fish tacos yet! The crispy fish was delicious and paired well with the green salsa. Also, the cheeseburger tacos have no business being that tasty. I was amazed at how tasty they were!
We’ve been 3 times recently, fish tacos are always amazing, carne asada and Al pastor are also super great. Careful with the green sauce because it kicks hard. If you show up later in the evening they might be closed so make this your first stop in midtown! Take tacos across the street to piñon and enjoy with beer.

A friend took me last week. I live in Midtown and didn't know this place existed! I had the cheeseburger tacos. They were delicious! I can't wait to go back and try the fish tacos.
The pico de gallo is the best in town!!! I only wish they gave more for the chips and salsa which is an additional charge. I love the tacos so much it’s all I ever order!There is only outdoor seating and it’s mostly metal. Cold in the winter and hot in summer, so bring something to sit on!! And enjoy the tacos!!
I don’t really understand the hype. I tried their Al Pastor (pineapple flavor stood out way too much), carne asada and carnitas tacos. None of them were very noteworthy and the meat was too minced for my liking. My group seemed pretty underwhelmed with the food as well. It was a bit pricey on top of it too. I’ll stick to making tacos at home.
By far the best tacos I have ever had and I used to live in Los Angeles!! It is simple and to the point. My favorites are the cheeseburger taco and the asada. Amazing freaking tacos!!
