Love this place. My favorite Sushi in all of my travels. Great variety including all you can eat option. The Dragon Roll and the Soft Shell Crab are my go tos.

BEWARE OF FEE!!!! I had the AYCE (All You Can Eat) option and I was impressed with the nigiri specialties. The sushi was very fresh and the rice to fish ratio was good. Service was very friendly. The only 2 reasons why I gave 4 out of 5 stars was 1) because they tacked on a convenience fee for me using my credit card and didn't disclose this upfront. I only found this out when I emptied out my purse and was about to shred my receipt. I feel that this is part of "doing business" and this fee shouldn't be passed on to customers. I mean after all, who doesn't charge for services and products nowadays anymore? I've not carried cash on me for years. Let's try decades! Yes, I feel shaded and that little .52 cents caused me to write this review because I feel ripped off. It obviously isn't the cost, it's the moral and principal of being charged that fee! 2) My usual "go to" place for sushi is the Sky Terrace inside the Atlantis hotel. Sushi Pier charges the exact same price as the Sky Terrace @ $23.99 per person (lunch). I just feel that they shouldn't be charging the same price at a fancier, nicer setting than a hotel/casino. If that's the case, I might as well just continue to eat at the Sky Terrace inside Atlantis.

Big party of 8! Place was small but service and food is great! Half of us did all you can eat! Been to pretty much all sushi place in town but I love this place! Service is awesome as everyone is very kind! We had ended up closing the place as we arrived a bit later than expected! Come check them out! Sashimi is delish!

When we walked in there was a Help Wanted sign on the door. And yes, they did need assistance. I’m stillRock g a four star review because the sushi chefs did an AMAZING job at the sushi bar. They worked very hard, making up for a lack of waitstaff. I’ve eaten here many times on my trips from California and am giving the business a mulligan in this one due to the current employment environment. It’s extremely difficult keeping employees post Covid. Again, the chef’s were amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. The value was met. (As for the waitstaff, we had asked for a fork and waited five minutes. Our sushi chef reminded the kitchen again. Three minutes later he went and got a fork himself. Absolutely above and beyond work as he was incredibly busy.)

First time there and prices and food excellent it is a small place but very cozy sushi chef is very personable and does a great job 23 dollars for all you can eat sushi for lunch you can’t beat that

After flying from Fort Worth to Reno and running around which felt like half a day, getting a rental and connecting with friends we finally decided to sit down & have a meal at Sushi Pier. All I have to say is “WOW.” See the pictures. The fish was ALL fresh. They did not overwhelm you with sauces. The food was delicious and the texture, perfect. All around, the atmosphere was great, the waitresses were attentive and constantly looked to see how we were doing. The mix of being in a good ambience and great food just makes for a excellent experience.Prices are good. For ALL-YOU-CAN eat sushi, this place cannot be beat.

Great spot for sushi in Reno. Located in the same plaza Costco is. Good value, only $21 for lunch. They have a specific lunch menu for AYCE, but definitely worth it. Dinner is $28 with the whole menu opened up.4/5 stars because it’s a great value, good quality, but you can tell from my first two photos that the skill level in slicing the fish is different. The texture wasn’t the same on unskilled level. Maybe just a new person learning.Great place! I’d come back!

Omg I think I found my favorite sushi place. I used to go to sushi rose but decided to change it up . Sushi pier Definitely has the freshest fish that I've ever had. I'm so glad I decided to give it a try because this is so good. And all the extra things that they give you is definitely a plus you guys have to try this place.

Great place for sushi. It’s down the street from GSR and perfect to stop for lunch after a VR gaming session. We sat at the bar and were served directly from the sushi chefs. They are friendly and fast making our orders within seconds upon placing. The buffet is the way to go if you are hungry and looking for a fill up. Lunch buffet for only $20.95 a person and there are plenty of options to choose from.Remember to get some ice cream before you leave too. It’s included with the buffet. Ice cream comes in green tea, mango, or vanilla mixed known as a Happy Ending.

First time at Sushi Pier. This place was packed! Gave them my number and was called to be seated within 15-20 minutes. We were seated at the bar. Sushi was good. Unfortunately they didn't have any Yellowtail and everything that called for is got albacore. Other than that, the experience was good. Thanks for the gift card!
