My hubby and I truly enjoyed our two nights stay in the resort for our 44th anniversary celebration. Grateful to our host Menchie who is quite pleasant to deal with and always available to assist in any way. Looking forward to our future visits to Atlantis Resort. Flordeliza & Edmundo Salcedo
It was great! The friendliest and most helpful employees. We are locals and this was a nice experience. Oyster bar and Sushi bar are the best! Pool and jacuzzi were exceptionally clean no matter what time we went.
The whole stay was pleasant. The employees were great. We had to wait for our room on check in, because it wasn't ready. There wasn't enough gambling tables available. Certain table had a waiting list where people were playing two hands. If there is a waiting list, people should not be allowed to hold two spots.
This was our first time staying at Atlantis Hotel and Casino in Reno, NV. The room was really nice and the bathroom was amazing. Everyone was friendly and we enjoyed the table games and the many exciting slot machines. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be staying again!
The best hotel/gambling destination in Reno. I have recommended to all my friends and family to stay here. Safe area with the best staff. Not one negative interaction on the entire property and we even ate at Chef Robert’s restaurant who was most excellent
The Atlantis is away from the strip in a great location with easy access to the main freeway. Lots of restaurants and retail very close by. It's a fun atmosphere at the Atlantis and the service was excellent from check in to bartenders, to keno employees, to purple parrot waitresses, to sports book employees to cocktail waitresses to the waitresses and sommelier at the Napa Bistro to the servers and waitresses at the Sky Terrace Sushi Bar. Thank you for making my stay very enjoyable.
Last Tuesday around 12:00 noon, my wife and I checked in (we had advance reservations and the confirmed reservation number to prove this) and we were assigned room 627, provided two keys and a key card holder with the number 627 written on it. We accessed our room several times, had a bite to eat, showered and went to bed as we had been traveling and had not slept in many hours. We were first awakened by an older gentleman (customer) who woke us attempting to enter our assigned room, we told him the room was occupied and he politely and promptly left. Sometime later, we guess under an hour as we were exhausted and asleep, our room was rushed by at least 7 security guards, violently hammering on our door loudly demanding we immediately open the door and exit the room, we were absolutely frightened and shocked at the show of force and rudeness and telling us we were unlawfully trespassing there and we were not registered guest and demanded we produce IDs and to follow this hoard of men down to the lobby where "we will deal with you". Might I add these security officers had entered an adjoining room and had opened that door leading into our assigned room as my wife laid in bed scared to death. One guard threatened physical contact with me, witnessed by hotel staff and guests (who have provided me written statements of his threats.) Once we got dressed, settled our nerves somewhat, we went to the lobby where we were met by the head of security and the resort manager. This time we were met with a bit of humility as they had determined we were registered guests, had been assigned room 627 but the front desk person had place in their computer system we were in room 327. To add insult to injury, they said it was still our fault because the credit card we used was declined although that card worked the week before when we were there AND three times at the resort that day; twice at Starbucks and once in the Sundries shop, and yes I have the receipts to prove this as well. I asked if there was a mix up why not call our room, speak with us and tell us there is an issue instead of terrifying and intimidating us over their mistake? So to quote “so we can make this right” and I quote, “ all we can do for you is apologize for the mix up and comp you ½ of the room rate.” Please note we did not ask for anything, no comps whatsoever. My wife was so upset by this ordeal, she just wanted to leave that place, so we left and made other arrangements. So I offer real and sincere caution to anyone staying here and to be particularly aware of the security team and their bullying and intimidating tactics on innocent patrons. My wife and I have waited to be contacted formally by the resort to apologize, no monetary wants, just a written acknowledgment of the events and a sincere letter of apology for threating us like criminals.
Short stay personal business. Pleasure.Fun. Stay cool from the heat. Car was at dealership. Room service. Gambling. Food. Atmosphere. Slots. Restaurants. Easy access from freeway. Have been here before.
We have been staying at the Atlantis Resort for years now whenever we go to Reno. We love that it's not in the heart of downtown but close enough to drive to. They do charge a resort fee which I don't care for since we never use the pools, hot tubs, or gyms. Their buffet is very good, but we love to eat at the Manhattan Deli and also the Steakhouse.
Great spot for sports and drinks
