My husband and I started eating here about eight months ago. Am sure we eat there now three times a month. Love the drive in stalls. However we are disappointed when we can't place order at the car stalls nor the walk up order kiosk. We do not do drive through. Seems it is happening too often. We will always continue to enjoy Sonic but sure hope the drive up stalls are more available. Also agree with the guy who said layout for drivers not good at all. When people pull away from window they should be more careful of the patrons leaving the stalls. My kitty loves to be in car with us when we go!! Excellent food, seriously superb employees.
Never a ridiculous wait and decent prices. Food is always good and order is usually accurate. Only complaint I really have and it's not even a complaint really is just how the layout of the whole building is. I feel like it was just like planning and could have been done so much better. If you drive a large SUV or truck/trailer I wouldn't advise pulling in because it feels extremely crammed and the drive thru line and the cars that are parked at the drive up kiosk things all have to exit through the same spot and it is extremely tight.
I love Sonic and I love this location. Every staffmember is personable and happy to help with any special requests. The food is always wonderful and really sends me back to my childhood.
I always order on the app and have never had an issue until the other day. I ordered as usual and set the time for it to be ready(6:30PM) , I pulled up and checked in at 6:29PM and waited and waited and waited. At 6:54PM I finally pushed the button and asked if I was gonna get my order. They asked to take my order I said I pre ordered on the app and Gave my name. The guy said oh here it is, I said if its been sitting there I dont want it they said it just got OFF THE GRILL. I got home less than 100yards away (Meadowwod mall Apartments) and the Sodas were watered down due to the ice melting cause it was sitting, fries were cold and my GFs and my burger were soggy. This might of been a one off thing but thats when ppl always rate is during bad experiences. I literally sat there and the car hop walked by us for 26 minutes and didnt stop and ask if we needed help or wonder why a car that has not gotten an order is still doing there. Like I said this was the 1st time its ever happened to me.
Very sad about my visit today. I love sonic but today made me deeply disappointed. I came into sonic after a long day after work and was greeted with a worker with attitude. (Mariah) I wanted to know what drinks were available and she said “there’s a whole menu to look at” in a rude manner. Very disappointed in this visit today.
I asked for a #19 Breakfast, which is a brioche sandwich. The guy that handed me my meal said be careful the coffee is hot. I grabbed on to the cup I was thinking oh gosh they must have really good cups because it's not even hot. I went and parked my car and my coffee was ice cold. I opened my sandwich and found a burrito. I don't like burritos. So I call the store and get somebody who is one of the managers, it takes him 10 minutes to find order number 3 for the day for $8.05. And he says hes going to refund me $6.05. Not sure what I'm paying for other than paying myself for the time and trouble. I'll never eat at sonic again.
Sonic on s.virginia offers a little change from the same mundane fast food usually found. The single cheeseburger is very big and packed with tomatoes, lettuce and cheese as well. Good milkshakes! Very tasty and a very good value for price. Highly recommend and will return
Sonic is the bomb ?, we always do the car hop service & there always fast n polite. Best shakes & how can ya not like tator-tots!!! I had the ft long coney dog w/chilli n cheese & the wife had the butter garlic bacon burger. Always good n hot .would recommend over the other fast food places anytime ?
First time here and was very impressed. Order the sonic cheeseburger with tots and shake. The burger bun and contents were fresh and so tastey. Highly recommend this Sonic! And the service was quick and friendly!
Staff is great. I always get all my food. Even tho the wait is a lil long because of the shortage of staff, it's worth waiting for their shakes. Thank you!!
