Food was good but was so understaffed.
Good food and nice staff, plus you can watch the river if you sit outside.
Slow service due to only one chef and short staff but the food and drinks made up for the long wait.Halibut fish and chips were very good and the calamari was alright but hit the spot while we were waiting for the rest of the food.Although they were short staff the service was very friendly.
I don’t necessarily not recommend Smee’s but the cleanliness and attention to detail needs some work. My husband noticed AFTER eating his coleslaw that it had some red sauce stuck to the inside of the dish. We also had 2 dirty appetizer plates and the tempura shrimp had some strange black cooked into them. Again we didn’t notice until we ate most of the shrimp. I got one mahi-mahi taco and one regular fish taco. Mahi was delicious, just spicy. Both tacos did not have cojita as the menu states but it was good. The fish taco had zero flavor so I drenched it in lemon and it was alright.
My wife and I had heard the place were good for fish. My wife and I started out with a cup of their chowder, and it was delicious. My wife had the Mahi Maahi tacos, and I had the fish and chips, both were delicious. Service by Jess was outstanding. Yes we will be back.
We randomly chose this restaurant as one of the first ones we came across on the Riverwalk. We were seated immediately outside. The service was excellent! Food was out fast and fantastic! The smoked salmon was terrific and the fish and chips fantastic. Great bar menu. Nice wine list. Our server was Almee and she was very friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful lazy Sunday late lunch with a great view!
All the food was amazing! Little confusion at the beginning on whose section we were in, but overall great experience. Definitely recommend!
We came here with 7 kids under 10 and the staff was amazing!!! Our server Carmen paid the best attention to us and their patience with with our party was outstanding! Food was amazing and worth every penny!!! If 10 stars was an option they'd get it!!!
Nothing better than some fresh Alaskan deep fried Cod ( along with a Modelo, thank god!) to cure a hangover in Reno. Even have the Beautiful Riverwalk to look at if you wanted to be in the sun. We decided to stay inside and had a great time with our waitress and their robotic delivery service by Ruby !!! Also had the second best blue cheese wedge salad along with the three piece cod and tried out their special of the deep-fried soft shell crab sliders. It was presented great however I found out I am not a fan of eating soft shell blue crab whole. Just not for me but the Cod is everything everyone talks about!!!
Was disgusted last night to see a waitress carrying somebody's to go box in her mouth, since her hands were full, then spit the container down on the counter and fill it with a customers leftovers �
