Great food ,great prices and nice people. If you like a good Chinese lunch spot and your on that side of town I recommend it.
This review only pertains to the Pho that I ordered, I can't speak for the rest of the menu. Frankly this was some of the worst pho I've had in my life. The meatballs were completely rubbery and chewy, not soft like they should be. There was gobs of meat fat as part of the soup- I believe they were intended to be eaten, but we could not. The tripe came in extremely long strips, making it very hard to eat without tearing it apart by hand.
Mediocre food...The fried rice doesn't have anything in it but a tiny bit of egg. The Pork with Chinese Cabbage only has the base of the leaves, no green tops. I asked him what they did with the greens and he didnt know.I guess they don't like vegetables that much. I told the waiter to tell the owners that I was surprized by the items lack, but he didn't seem interested in forwarding my statement. I also told him I didn't want the egg roll that comes with lunch, but he brought it and the sause any way...Much better places to go
This restaurant is terrible. We ordered the crispy duck, and the sweet and sour pork. The crispy duck was a disgrace and a waste of perfectly good duck meat. It was deep-fried into a dried out crispy mess and wasn't appetizing at all. The sweet and sour pork was downright disgusting. What should be a crispy and flavourful dish was a bland plate of soggy batter and awful pieces of pork. Do yourself a favour and don't go here.
Partner got the vermicelli bowl and I got crispy orange peel beef. We also got Chinese egg rolls and salt and pepper calamari. (Eat the calamari withe the cabbage salad that it comes with!) The dishes were very good. Portions were small but I understand…inflation’s hitting us all. Service was prompt and lovely folks working there.
Silver chop sticks is an awesome Chinese restaurant! The food was fast and amazingly delicious! The service was the same. Everyone there was polite, respectful, would not allow my wife to carry the box with a very large order of food (feminists might think this is chauvinistic, but it is proper), they opened the door for us, and wished us merry holidays. It was so good, my wife gave them a $20 tip!Their restaurant was very clean. Tables were clean, but got recleaned and set for customers while we waited for our food.If I lived in Reno/Sparks area this would definitely be my go to Chinese place.
The staff is very polite, helpful and very positive. The food is very good flavorful. I would recommend you eat there.
The service was good.
We were stuck in heavy after hours traffic and stopped into this shopping center and tried this new restaurant. It was very busy with take out orders, probably 50 while we ate. Food was delicious and the bbq pork fried rice the very best. We'll return.
If you are looking for American style Chinese food with sugar poured into every dish, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place with free hot tea, authenticity, and a wide selection of affordable dishes, then come here.
